So Kyrie won his first two games with the Mavs without Luka. Since Doncic returned, 0-2. I don’t see this working.

T'Wolves should trade Towns.

Gobert doesn't have much trade value at the moment. Anthony Edwards is a legit franchise star. Towns and Gobert do not fit together. Trade Towns and bring in a legit #2 to play alongside Edwards and Gobert.

That comment made me laugh. Danny Got ‘em good. Shyster of the year.

Lakers lose another one. This time to a team they are competing with. Could they really miss the Playin again?

Also I officially don’t respect anyones opinion that still thinks AD is a top ten player in the nba. That just means you are not any games. Giannis, Tatum, curry, Durant, jokic, Luca, Booker, lebron, morant, Embid are just absolute no brainers over him. Lillard, harden, brown, irving and like 15 other players can make very legit arguments.  I’m not sure he is top 30 right now.

Yeah, if you'd told me at the time of the Davis trade to the Lakers that in the 2023 season I wouldn't trade JB straight up for Davis, I would have called myself a liar.  He looks pretty run down for a 29 year old.

In a way, it was a blessing that Kyrie left in free agency.  If he hadn't, there's a good chance that Danny would have traded Tatum for Davis.  Then, Kyrie would have flaked out anyway and forced a trade, while Davis would be on and off the injured list.

I think AD needs a change of scenery. He may not say it but it looks like he’s not having fun playing with Lebron anymore.

I don't understand who you are disagreeing with.  Davis is not 100% (he may never be again), but still put up 19 pts, 20 rebs, and 3 blocks with a pretty pedestrian team around him.  Who exactly are you debating with?  So long as Davis is not 100%, he is not a top 10 player, but still a very good player.  Is he top 20, top 30, I don't know.  Even in his current state, he is a top PF in the league though.  Maybe second only to Giannis.  Adebayo would be in my discussion.  How many PFs have put up 20 pts/20 rebs/3 blks in a game this year, even when fully healthy?

AD is #2 guy, not a #1, so when Lebron is out and AD has to be the #1, he doesn't play all that well.  That is especially more problematic as he keeps racking up injuries.  That said, he did have 20 rebounds and 3 blocks last night, he just can't score like a #1 and no one else on that team can either.  They need Lebron to handle that load.  They will be a much different team with Lebron, AD, Russ, Beasley, Rui, etc.  Lebron is the key though and who knows if Lebron will be healthy again this year.

Lol the excuses you make for these other teams/players compared to the Celtics is astonishing   :P

That isn't an excuse, in fact that is a big time slight on AD, calling him a #2 and saying he needs a 38 year old, 20 year veteran to be successful.

Weren't you literally calling AD a Top-10 player not long ago?

Anyways I think AD is hurt. But he's trying to play through it. I agree though, he's an awesome #2, not really a great alpha.

I still maintain that once LAL is out of it by more than 4 games in mid-March, both Lebron and AD will rule themselves out the rest of the year and pack it in.

I said if AD is healthy, I think he is a top 10 player (he is still a #2 offensive guy), but I also don't think he is healthy right now and may never be again.
