depends what they want I think.  I mean I could see a team like the Thunder making a real play for Siakam as they have a lot of picks, aren't terrible (so likely aren't in the high pick sweepstakes), and could use a PF like Siakam.  They'd have to include Dort for salary purposes, but otherwise could keep their core in tact, while still providing young players and draft picks to Toronto.  The Thunder also have the Favors TPE at 10.1 million so they could take back someone like Thad Young into that providing more cap relief and giving the Raptors a TPE themselves.

It would be a bold move by the Thunder to do something like that, but it wouldn't be a totally crazy move either.

Yeah, the 2 picks have value, but not that much value.  Best I could come up with was Westbrook, 27, 29 for Siakam, Young, Porter, and Birch.  That would at least clear a bunch of cap space next year for the Raptors.  That just doesn't seem like it would be anywhere near enough for Siakam.

It seems strange to me that CJ McCollum would say something like this about another team.  I don't doubt that players talk and that he could have heard directly that someone isn't happy but he has no insight whatsoever as to whether the team is going to move someone.  That he "thinks they're gonna move someone" is just pure speculation that again, I am surprised that he would say this.

Anyway, that said, Siakam may well get moved (my speculation is no less than McCollum's speculation).  How about Siakam for John Collins (and something to match salaries)?  Toronto gets a few years younger with Collins.  Both players get changes of scenery.  There was a time when John Collins was viewed nearly as highly as Siakam.

Pretty sure the Pel’s have 1 more of the Lakers picks and then a swap option over the next few years and then after that, the LAL own their picks outright.

Their first-rounder situation isn't actually that bad, it's just that they have essentially nothing of trade value other than picks.

Pelicans have swap rights this year and then can choose to have the Lakers first outright in either 24 or 25. Otherwise they have all their firsts, which translates to the Lakers being able to trade two firsts outright and swap rights in between.

Beal’s contract is atrocious, while being injury prone AND he has a no trade clause, his value is extremely decreased.

Kuzma has a player option in the offseason, which he will certainly op-out. Trading for him is just a 6 month rental.

That Beal contract is awful, though. He’s about to turn 30 and is always in and out of the lineup. His numbers are way down across the board and he’s not shooting the ball well. Washington isn’t going anywhere and I wouldn’t be surprised if they try to get off that deal. Glad he didn’t make his way to the C’s.
