That seems really low until you realize how little MLB and NHL hopefuls make in their minor leagues. Then that doesn't seem so bad.

Then that doesn't seem so bad.Plus, they also have health insurance and get time into the retirement system. All things that are beneficial for a fringe NBA player. Most guys leave the GLeague after a couple of seasons anyway, either to the NBA or Europe (where they make solid wages) or they just give up on their dreams of playing professionally.

That is at AAA. Single A is like 6k a year and Double A is just over 9k. That is for the 5 months or so they are in season. It is a ridiculously low amount of pay for the players that aren't on the major league track with the big signing bonuses.
The minimum salary is $400 weekly at rookie level, $500 at Class A, $600 at Double-A and $700 at Triple-A. Major League Baseball says 63% of players on opening day minor league rosters this year had salaries above the minimum and players also receive health care, tuition assistance, housing, meals and per diem during the season.

Seems not only stingy but shortsighted. I wonder how many potential late bloomers give up a little too early because they're making so little.
Shams Charania@ShamsCharaniaThe NBA has fined the Clippers $25,000 for violating league injury reporting rules when the team listed Brandon Boston Jr. and Moussa Diabate as unavailable but both played on Oct. 30 vs. Pelicans.

The top level prospects can get several million up front.
Jokic has already passed Wilt for most career triple doubles by a center. 79. He's already 6th all-time and only 27 years old.

Has the search function been eliminated? I remember there was a Miles Bridges thread, but I don’t know how to search for it. Maybe it’s because I’m on my phone?
