Marcus Smart, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Robert Williams III has played a mere 29 minutes together this season.

That’s wild.

Wow. All star break can’t come soon enough. Need to gets guys healthy.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Somewhat good news…

Tim Bontemps: Jaylen Brown is out on the court working out ahead of Celtics-Grizzlies this afternoon on ABC. Brown remains out with the facial fracture he suffered Wednesday against Philadelphia. – via Twitter TimBontemps

White has become one of my favorite players in the league.  Playing like a star while we’re down a bunch of guards.

Well-deserved award and I’m happy for him.

Unsure how he beat Giannis, but I’ll take it! Congrats D-White, continue to make me eat my words about OG being better than you

For some reason I thought White was already like 30 or 31 years old. He's actually 28.

Not saying 28 is "very young" but that's still a guy just entering his prime and still having a lot of years left of potential high-level play. Hope we can keep him around for a while  :)

He definitely fits the timeline with Tatum, Smart, Brown and Timelord

The way he plays on offence reminds me a lot of Hayward, insofar as just playing the right way in a truly complementary manner. He can scale up his offence to cover for injuries, as we've seen lately (an ability I did not know/think he had), whilst he can slip into a facilitating back-up role easily. However, where Hayward was merely middle of the road on defence, White is stellar. Incredibly disruptive, takes charges, comes up with clutch blocks, and can switch 1-3.

White is also paid a lot less ;D

Tatum listed as DOUBTFUL for tomorrow’s game

So we might literally be facing the Bucks with just our bench

Rob and GWill are also listed as questionable. Are they playing mind games vs the Bucks? I mean if we hang around or even score the upset with our bench guys then that would be huge. If we lose then it’s no big deal. I’m sure the Bucks circled this date on their calendar, specially now that they’re on a torrid hot streak.

Why would it be “no big deal” if they lose?  A win means they clinch a tie-breaker.  The Bucks are on a roll and only 1 game back in the loss column, and that’s without being fully healthy.  Some games are obviously more important than others and this is one of them; unless someone is injured, they should be playing

I get you. As an avid fan myself, I would obviously want them to have the best record and HCA throughout the playoffs. Sadly in today’s NBA, teams seem not to care much about seeding and HCA. Health is always the priority, which is why the league has been suffering from all these DNPs and load management. I’m with you, I hope JT plays and they go all out for the win. If not, then I totally get it too (though I may not necessarily agree). Now that you pointed out the “tiebreaker”, I really do hope the guys play and just take the day off vs Detroit.

I think if smart and jb were healthy he'd probably play.  Without smart and jb the load on jt would be large and with it being against Giannis Jt would push it to hard.  I'd rest him these next 2 and let him go into the break to get refreshed.  Jb and smart should have some fresh legs when they come back.  Let pp and Hauser get some extra run these next 2 games.  Too bad we didn't have a buyout wing already.

This is awesome!  Great job D White.  He has been ballin.
If both he and Malcolm can maintain this aggressiveness it makes our team so much better.

Several teams sniffing around on Grant Williams' situation in Boston

Yet rumbles persist that various teams are monitoring the situation and curious about Williams’ future there. Williams is poised to become a restricted free agent this summer and said to be seeking a contract in the Keldon Johnson-in-San Antonio, $20-million-annually range. – via Marc Stein @ marcstein.substack.com
