Isaiah Likely from Everett having a good game and catching a TD. Special moment for the local kid.

Got to hand it to mo on this one, his team played well and looked well coached. Impressive win for them, especially after how poor they looked the first half. I had this one very wrong early on thought, Tampa was rolling

Ravens look pretty inept so far.
It's because they're no better than a 6 win team.
which makes the Pats what, since they lost to them.  We will see by the end of year who was more correct about the Pats, but I'm guessing they are closer to 6 than 10 wins.

I think we were both teasing.

The Pats sure looked awful last Monday. If that’s who they are, they won’t win much.  Ravens are obviously a better team than the Pats this year, but not feeling like either team is heading to a Super Bowl.

oh I know nick was being funny, but I found it funny to respond.  The Ravens didn't start the game very well and did look inept for awhile.

I picked the Chiefs in the AFC and see no reason to go away from that pick so far.  Bills obviously look very good also.  I don't think a healthy Ravens squad is that far behind those 2 though (I mean they were up 20-3 on Buffalo), but the odds of them being healthy seems very small at this point.  I mean even last night they lost Andrews, Bateman, and Edwards during the game.  They need to do something differently from a training department.  Just too many injuries the last 2 seasons.

Brady should have just retired and stayed with his wife and family.

This season has 2019 Patriots vibes all over it for Brady. He's not as committed to the organization, going through the motions and the team is also not as talented as a few years ago. They'll make the playoffs and maybe even win the division because it's garbage but I see an early exit for them

Yeah, I appreciate the competitive fire, but it's not a choice I would have made.  I don't think that the Bucs have a realistic chance to win, and all it takes is one bad hit to ruin Brady's quality of life going forward.  To risk his family and his personal safety when he's already had the best career in NFL history is hard for me to grasp.

“6 wins at best” was the quote. Which means if they have a great year and outperform, they will have 6 wins.

I haven't changed my mind.  The Patriots are a mess right now and they lack overall talent on the roster.  They are not a good team.

Just clear it up by saying in bold: "I, Moranis, officially say the Patriots will finish 6-11"  :P

That is my current belief based thus far on the results of the season.  Obviously a lot can change with teams so I will adjust as necessary (just as I had them at 7-10 after they beat Cleveland as I thought they would lose that one, of course they promptly lost to Chicago which I thought they'd win and dropped back down to 6-11).  For example, I thought they'd lose to the Colts in 2 weeks, but obviously with Ehlinger getting the nod the projected outcome of that game could be different now.  I want to see how the rookie looks this week and whether Taylor is back for the game.  Both could have a dramatic impact on who wins that one.  So that might change to a Pats win, but it is still over a week away so I want to see how all of that progresses, as well as monitor the Pats own QB situation.

I'm a big proponent of really analyzing the schedule and adjusting as needed as the season plays out.  I've seen several Pats games this year and they just don't look like a good team and they have a gauntlet of a schedule down the stretch.  I think the losses are really going to pile up on them to close the year.  Which is the opposite of the Ravens.  The Ravens have 9 games left, 7 of those games are against teams that are currently 2-5, they have a game against a 3-4 team, and then close the year with at the Bengals who are 4-3 team.  They do play the Browns after Watson is back, so the Browns may be a lot better than their record, but there is at least a not-negligible chance Baltimore doesn't lose another game this year given just how awful their schedule is.  I think they will probably pick up 2 losses along the way and go into the Bengals game at 11-5 (and how that game plays out depends a lot on how the seeding is looking).   Schedule just matters so much in a 17 game season.  Not just who is on it, but when you play them.  The Ravens more difficult games were early, so they have a real chance to go on a very big role entering the playoffs.  Things like that matter.

That’s a tough one. Most wives would want a more present father around. There are many men that think that their role is to provide money and that’s it. My father was around for my upbringing and I’m grateful for this.

Most wives also aren’t married to the GOAT.

Maybe Brady shouldn’t have come back? He doesn’t look very good on the field.

Then there’s the idea that he was sick of her trying to control him. I’m sure there are many other husbands here that feel that way. The only difference is I can’t attract 10 models with the snap of my fingers.

If Brady is officially divorced now, then I wonder if he "retired" just to try and save the marriage. When that didn't work he came out of "retirement". What better way to keep your mind off the divorce than doing the job he loves. A divorce takes a long time to go through, especially when that kind of money is involved.
