Want an example of horrible mismanagement by a franchise?

RJ Barrett is first NYK 1st-round pick to sign 2nd deal w/club since 1999

Just wow...

That is a good example of mismanaging assets and poor scouting/drafting. To continue their mismanagement, they almost traded Barrett for Mitchell before the extension!

The Knicks, reportedly, might still fall into the trap of trading several assets for Mitchell. A core of Mitchell-Brunson-Barrett-Randle/Toppin-Robinson seems underwhelming, poor fitting, and rushed.

In another example of mismanagement, the Timberwolves rushed and overpaid for Gobert. The difference is that they have a core of Ant and KAT, two elite young players that will assure contention. The Knicks, on the other hand, could end up anywhere from a #3 seed to a lottery team. I don’t like mismanagement, but I do enjoy beating the Knicks so it is what it is.

Montrezl Harrell's felony charges were reduced to a misdemeanor, and his record will be expunged in 12 months if he complies with certain conditions.

I expect he'll sign somewhere now.  The most likely scenario is going back to Charlotte, right?

My binky. Any way the C's can nab him?

Sure, they offer him the minimum and he decides if he wants to come to Boston.  But he seems like someone who wants more playing time and/or money than we can offer.  I don’t think a title run is his priority over getting on the court.

What about if he is traded for Grant?

You want to trade Grant Williams for Montrezl Harrell in a sign-and-trade?  Or something else?

There has been a former Knick in every NBA final for the past 76 years though!

With the Boston Celtics advancing to the championship after conquering the Eastern Conference, a former New York Knicks player will be in the NBA Finals for the 76th-straight year in a row.

Luke Kornet, the fan-favorite sharp-shooting 7-footer, is a reserve for Boston. That means Kornet will be one of a mind-boggling number of former Knicks players to compete for, and maybe even win, a ring on the NBA’s biggest stage.

Are they doing what the Bucks have done the past decade? Nabbing a bunch of long dudes (Thon Maker, Jabari Parker)?

I'm glad we're getting in the middle of it too, hope Cabloco works out.

Speaking of Jabari, man was he talented...I think even just in a workout against traffic cones I don't see this much quickness at this size very often. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSDl9JF5hvU&ab_channel=CityLeagueHoopsTV

Report out today the Pacers wanted to do a Turner, Hield, and Theis for Westbrook, THT, 27 and 29, but the Lakers didn't want to do that and moved to the Beverley trade.  Still seems like a deal can be made between those teams.

Is Goga Bitadze going to be an unrestricted free agent? If so I'd be intested.

That's a pretty remarkable & utterly insane streak.

Cool international game happening right now. Germany versus France. Schroeder, gobert, Fournier, yabu, Wagner some of the familiar names playing.

wonder what the package is.

3 unprotected 1sts and 2 swaps is the draft capital.  Haven't seen the players traded yet.

Cleveland will send Lauri Markkanen, Colin Sexton and Ochai Agbaji to Utah in the package for Donovan Mitchell, league sources tell @YahooSports.

Cavs going to be really good as they kept their core i.e. Garland, Mobley, and Allen.  They gave up Sexton, Markkanen, Agbaji, and the draft picks.

Starters - Garland, Mitchell, LeVert, Mobley, Allen
Main Rotation - Rubio/Neto, Okoro, Osman, Wade, Love, Lopez
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
