I re-watched The Wire. Think I enjoyed it even more the second time around. Definitely one of the top 5 shows ever made.

Love a rewatch of the wire. My favorite show of all time.

Ive been trying to get my wife to watch the Wire.  We made it into a few episodes and she likes it but not enough to move it ahead of other choices.  I may need to rewatch it with out her.

And the Dexter reboot was pretty good, but you definitely have to suspend the plausibility factor a bit.

A couple of episodes is not enough to learn the characters and their backstory. Plot takes time to develop as well. It gets good by 6 and the last 4-5 episodes of season 1 are excellent.

Tonight is the ending of the Yellowstone series .

Didn?t care much for it, this whole last season part 1 and 2 were bad.  Part 1 moved painfully slow, to the point where I was wondering if their story had that little substance that they need to stretch these episodes out to kill time.  Then the complete opposite on part 2, everything very rushed and tied up with very bland predictable endings.

Just my opinion, I?d almost have preferred a bad ending that was way overthought and too complex to something that, at least to me, come across as lazy

Yelllowstone has been declining since Season 3 (with a lot of critics saying Season 2).  The beginning of the end was the stupidity with the Summer character, and then a whole lot of filler before Sheridan and Costner killed off John through their stubbornness.

Been getting my Omar fix watching "Boardwalk Empire." Love the Prohibition-era setting and high production values.

Agree. I liked the first 2 seasons a lot, but it's gotten pretty silly since then.

Yeah I?d agree.  In all fairness most shows, even some of the great ones, follow the same route.  They peak midway through their run, then just slowly decline until it?s over.  But man, the decline was steep and fast with this one.

Hah!  I can?t blame her.  I knew better than to even try and get my wife into this show.  It?s been a dvr?d, after work show for me for a few years now

Just finished watching season 2 of Shrinking.  I highly recommend this comedy about three psychiatrists.  Stars Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother) and Harrison Ford.  Segel was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series at the Emmys after the 1st season.   Good news is a 3rd season has been ordered.

Shrinking
Andor
Severance

Those are the three series I've been most excited for when it comes to their second seasons.

While Shrinking has a horribly sad premise, the life they live in California looks so picturesque (pre-fires of course).  It makes (made?) me want to live there.

The Wire was the best, though I had no use for the loss of Omar.
A close 2nd was the 1st season of True Detective.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

Started watching Shogun and enjoying it.

New Dexter is fun.  And it took me a while to get into it, but Landman with Billy Bob Thornton is growing on me.
