That’s the biggest story.

Sure missed FTs hurt and GSW shot a better % but the 18-6 turnover discrepancy and the 22 points generated off those turnovers is the real killer.

Saw a tweet by StoolGreenie.

C’s had 18 turnovers leading to 22 GSW points and the Celtics missed 10 FTs tonight

They lost by 10

Just brutal

Just rewatched a short clip of the 2015-2016 Celtics @ Warriors game.

The C's snap Warriors' 54-game home winning streak. Those Celtics games against the Warriors were actually fun  :'(

So much negativity.  This is the way the series was supposed to go - they're super experienced.  Yet we're one home win away from pushing a game 7 for the title with a young and developing group.  This loss sucks, but we should also acknowledge that we're still very much in this series and the envy of every other fanbase.  If we lose, it's only because we weren't ready yet, and there's no shame in that.

It’s just the way they have lost. Games at home, massive turnovers. We all know what the recipe is to win and they just can’t get over it. I fully believe Boston is the better team but the GS experience and them not hurting themselves as much is the difference.

I agree.  But our stars are 25 and 24 years old, we have a geriatric Al Horford, and the highs and lows of Marcus Smart.  I think we win game 6 and get a chance to throw the dice for a title.  I'm happy with that.  Our road to the Finals has been brutal too, and no doubt made us better long-term.

i look forward to five years from now when the C’s are losing to lesser teams because of 20 turnovers, missed FTs, and stupid shot selection but everyone says, “but the J’s are only 29 and 30 years old!”

with all the accolades they get, at what point are the J’s held accountable for not showing up in key moments?

Do t worry, they'll talk about spacing and being better and all that will go put the window if they win gm 6.

Idk how else to say it, but the team is legitimately dumb. They are mentally weak and just think they'll win by showing up and trying their best.

You guys ever thing we get Larry gm 6 performance in 1984 from any of these guys at any point?

Let's be real. The searching for fouls rather than looking to score is not a good.sign. They want to be rewarded for effort rather  than results.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Heard the same excuse for the past few years already sigh.

The Warriors have massively outspent the Celtics this year so I hope Management is ready to pony up for a championship.

Now this is GSW's series to lose. Will they blow a 3-2 lead? We got 'em right where we want 'em!  ;)

watched the game, was fully aware of these stats, but seeing it all together in print is just a gut punch.

yeah, but were you missing free throws and turning it over at an historic clip?  ;D

How does a Finals team have 18 turnovers like it's nothing???

I feel like I'm rooting for a kid that doesn't know their own strength half the time.

I'm not blaming this game on the refs at all man, they are who they are and they actually made bogus calls on the Warriors too, but sheesh missing 10 FTs is inexcusable.

And ofc, TOVs. Sloppiness. ISO 3's when it stops falling.
