Ime needs to take some heat!

Letting Tatum play the entire second half was a poor decision IMO. Clearly he was too gassed down the stretch.

They have a lot to work on by Thursday.

We need to have guys on the bench that can play and that Ime will play. Hard to win with 7 against a team thast just keeps moving.

Sorry, Derrick White basically sucks. He is on a $73M contract and should be providing starter level production. I know everybody raves about his defense and quick decision making, but all I see is him chasing guys who have beaten him and being unable to make more than a simple read. The clanking of his shots is just the cherry on top. We are desperate for offensive bench production and White just isn't it.

All the little things ended up killing us in this game--Ball off Curry and they give it BACK to GS for the .05 sec foul on Rob...the missed free throws...the miracle 3 pointer by Poole to end the 3rd...the fake offensive Foul on Poole that of course Brothers fell for...the missed White 3 pointers, when we had a chance to pull away....The Tech on Smart....Just EVERYTHING went GSW way.

The way we lose is the most frustrating part.  Its the same predictable reasons why.  I just hope if we lose, we lose by them beating us and not us beating ourselves like we have this whole series.  Problem is they havent shown us anything to believe differently

Yrs exactly.  I tip my cap to Curry. Wiggins, etc. But we need to play with composure. Just play like it's a regular season game. Putting too much pressure on ourselves.

Not making the crafty hesitation plays that freeze the D and actually get us to the rim. Not setting up lobs for Rob. Not pulling up on the lane but driving into a wall instead. Biting on double teams. It's the same nonsense that cooked us against Miami in the bubble.

I was probably more upset after game 4 - probably because I resigned myself to the inevitable at that point. I'm not trying to sound pessimistic, and I realize the 4th could have gone differently and swung in our favor, but it's been a rough couple of months and I am ready to move on with my life, win or lose.

I'm just sad that we may never have another shot like this again.

We should have a better shot next year.  The talent is there, we're just getting beat by experience.  GSW are a dynasty who deserve credit.

The path was paved this year.  We dont know what can happen next year.  Still have to face Giannis, KD.  Getting back here is not a given
agreed - the 2008 team should be the lesson learned -- take advantage of the opportunity when it's there.  you can never count on the future providing more opportunities

If I have to see Jaylen Brown drive out of control into a sea of opposition defenders only to fumble, lose the ball and fall / slip to the ground, I might just claw my eyeballs out

He only played 20 minutes and didn't shoot well but he didn't turn the ball over either. 3 assists and 0 turnovers to Smarts 2 assists and 4 turnovers.

Me too. Put someone in to get him the ball on the move.

This is the first team post KG era to make the finals and the key players are back so that part is good. I think they need some cover for the Jays - someone they can go to who can come off the bench and score some points when one of them sits. It would be nice if Nesmith could make the leap but so far he's shown no indication that it's ever going to happen.

Yeah, we were the team that didn't get destroyed by injuries. BKN will be back, MIL will have Middleton, Embiid/Harden are a legit force, MIA is still MIA. Then there are solid teams with young stars ready to go like TOR with Barnes and CLE with Mobley. And that is just the East.

Our defense was really something this year and it's possible we use the TPE and picks to acquire some impact players (I'd even shop Al around honestly), but we don't have a Bird, Lebron, or a Jordan. It's hard to make the Finals.

Except we are clearly hobbled by injuries too. Williams, Smart and Tatum are all obviously limited.

Health is always a major factor and player movement. The top teams could look very different next year. I hope we do. We need more playable players.

In the fourth quarter at times, they need just a straight post game to get a bucket. Where is Kantor when u need him?

Unless we find a true PG and some depth scoring/post-up PF, idk it'll be hard. Next year the Bucks will have Giannis and Middleton back. The Nets will have Irving playing full-time with Ben Simmons and KD. 76ers are still there with Harden/Embiid. Heat will still be decent as long as Butler/Herro/Adebayo there with Coach Spo. Cavs will be a force. Bulls will be healthy.
