telling stat of the night -- C's have 18 TOs to 17 assists.

Media needs to crucify this team in the post game.  I mean lay into them so that they feel absolutely humiliated at how badly they played.  won't happen but man someone's got to drive the point home to these idiots that they royally stink game after game making the same mistakes over and over again.

The problem is that the media did this after game four, yet they still came out stiff as a board.
the media was using kid gloves.  I wish I had a press pass so I could be there to ask the pointed questions to put them on the spot for their stupid play

Game 5 blowout. Easy money calling that one

There are times I’d swear you’re a troll.  You were no where to be found in the 3rd quarter

Thanks Greg. Third quarter was fools gold.
Not a troll…just not a massive homer that doesn’t see what this team really is at times.

sadly some are too emotionally caught up and think irrationaly and unobjectionable at times. we saw it for what it was. sadly we have crashed and burned and it caught up to us at a bad time.

oh well i won money. cannot bet with your heart only your brain

It's not "thinking rationally" to *literally* call the end of the Celtics' season/hopes after every single loss, let alone every single run that we give up. That's what many of you do, and then when they do lose you ignore the numerous other times they rallied and came back.

We were literally in this exact same position against Milwaukee - a better team - down 3-2 and pulled it out. It can absolutely be done.

I agree with the cause for optimism, but Golden State is better than Milwaukee.

Ime needs to take some heat!

Letting Tatum play the entire second half was a poor decision IMO. Clearly he was too gassed down the stretch.

They have a lot to work on by Thursday.

We need to have guys on the bench that can play and that Ime will play. Hard to win with 7 against a team thast just keeps moving.

I told you after game 4 the Celtics would lose big game 5. You went in on me.  I gave you my reasons why. You argued with

It was a close game though.  FTs and inexplicable mental mistakes cost us. Not like GS blew us out. This game was ripe to steal

Boston was down double digits several times in this game. Horrible start and a horrible 4th. They only got back on because of the 3 point shooting that dried up again. After that is was a big loss

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I was probably more upset after game 4 - probably because I resigned myself to the inevitable at that point. I'm not trying to sound pessimistic, and I realize the 4th could have gone differently and swung in our favor, but it's been a rough couple of months and I am ready to move on with my life, win or lose.

I'm just sad that we may never have another shot like this again.

Most of those 3s are practice shots. Imo the zwarriors can't guard the arc. Just don't choke. Same with the FT line. And stop with the drives into triple teams, looking to draw fouls.

These are pointless mental mistakes.

We should have a better shot next year.  The talent is there, we're just getting beat by experience.  GSW are a dynasty who deserve credit.

The way we lose is the most frustrating part.  Its the same predictable reasons why.  I just hope if we lose, we lose by them beating us and not us beating ourselves like we have this whole series.  Problem is they havent shown us anything to believe differently

Missing 10 free throws in a 10 point game is tough.

The path was paved this year.  We dont know what can happen next year.  Still have to face Giannis, KD.  Getting back here is not a given
