Both Timelord and Marcus Smart are "questionable" for game 7.

I don't mind Smart being questionable. His decisionmaking since he got injured has been questionable to say the least.

They've been questionable for like every game lol. I think they are definitely playing.

I think the biggest question for tomorrow is whether Herro will play. I think he will but idk, still TBD and I'm guessing he'll be a game-time decision

Team plays better on the road…plus needs some scoring bench vets for next season

Agree the Cs play better on the road for what ever reason.  Next season Grant and Payton will be veteran bench players.  Last night Grant played 17 min, took 2 shots and only scored 2pts. Payton played 3:34 min, took one shot and scored 0.  The only other bench player, D White, scored 22pts in 33min.  Ime did not handle his bench well last night.  Payton should have played more than 3+min and Smart should have played less than 40+.  Win Sunday and this discussion moves to the back seat.

Yeah, it'll back to championship aspirations. You guys know that the Heat are the number one seed for a reason right?

let's stop rationalizing these god awful performances and our suckage at home.  there is no way to spin it anymore.

i hope giannis picks up phone and cusses out whole celtics team. YOU BEAT ME? jrue? lopez? and portis with back to back elimination games? but not these clowns who are a triage unit?

So your alternative is to panic and rant? Well, it's the Celticsblog way but the pressure is still on the Heat.

silly question. first off this is a message board. why are you here?  The answer is right in front of you.

i am not panicking about anything.

facts were laid out about our issues and concerns related to performance.

i was being facetious about giannis so you missed the point

you obviously missed all the points so nevermind man. just nevermind. smh.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Frustrated at the last game, but I expect us to bury them. That was their 'grand final' if you will - I don't see any chance Butler, Lowry and Strus replicate that effort.

I loved those "grand finals" in rugby and Aussie rules when I was there - winner take all  :police:
I love all elimination game type sports. Game 7s, March Madness, the NFL playoffs - anything where it's win or go home is by nature thrilling.

Just happens that it is also very stressful if your team is involved

Wife mentioned she wanted to have a watch party  for game 7 . I said no lol, actaully told her how stressful it is when you are a fan, I was called dramatic maybe i am.
I get a little crazy especially when the game is close LOL. I like to be alone watching and screaming at the TV.

Since my 10 year old became a superfan( he freaking sleeps in my old Lewis jersey from decades ago) it's made the ups better and the lows even worse. When they lost gm 5 against MKE he had tears because he was going to get the business by his classmates.

I love sharing these moments with him, but when they lose  it not only breaks my heart as a fan, but also as a dad.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Good.  We're the better team.  We've shown the ability to win a tough Game 7 on the road.  Hopefully it goes as expected.

Stopped by the liquor store Saturday and found a good movie to watch tonite on HBO Max.

I will record the game and check in on gamecast occasionally, but that sums up the level of my confidence.
Just been thru too many of these to sit and watch in agony for three hours again.
I've been told that our threshold for pain declines as we age - for me that has been true.

We're good, tenn.  If Tatum is ready, we will advance.  And I think he is.

I'm with you -- struggle to watch all the way through.  I'll switch off from time to time and then rejoin.  Not feeling great about this game -- really believed G6 was the ticket.

Now that we're on gameday and that I had time to digest the game 6 loss, I'm feeling better about this one. It's still 50/50 as it's a game 7 but I think the guys (and Ime) will be ready. I'm just hoping that it doesn't turn into the usual scenario that we've lived so many times, with us passing so close to a win and the other team making all the tough shots/getting all the lucky bounces (especially since it already happened in game 6...).

It would hurt particularly to lose now especially after never losing twice in a row in the playoffs but of course if this streak should break it would happen now.

I'll go into this one thinking if this is really our year, like we've felt for a while, then we will win. If not, we won't and weren't supposed to. You can always talk about blown games and stuff like that but in my opinion, whenever a series goes 7 games, it's just that the teams are really that close.
