I really think facing elimination is going to cause us to turn on the afterburners, so I think we are going to win. I think we’ll have a big victory in game 6, not giving the refs any chance to influence the outcome, and a tight fight to the death in game 7. We always knew defeating the champions would be tough, so being down 3-2 is not a surprise, but we can do this. We must do this. We will do this.

What do you think?

I think so. We've only really been outplayed over the whole game in one game, game 1. I think we've been better over the series. We outplayed the Bucks in the 4th quarter of Game 4, they outplayed us in the last 6 mins of this. I think we're the better team but we just have to have more composure during those high pressure moments. The Bucks have been through this last year and are battle hardened so there's going to be no cakewalks (much as we would prefer those for our health). They've won 2 at the Garden, we have to do the same at Fiserv. They don't have Middleton, so if anything they should be at the disadvantage.

This is the toughest matchup in the playoffs. If we can get past this I don't think we'll have to face another team as difficult for us as this one.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I think this is the first time in a long time that we've been down 3-2 after being in a 2-2 situation. Usually, we're either up 3-2 and opposing team forces Game 7 and we end up winning 4-3 (or losing, cough recently 2018), or we're up 3-0 and end up winning 4-1 or 4-2. The Miami series in 2020 was different because we were already down 3-1, and then 3-2 before losing it.

The Bucks have been keeping it neck and neck with the C's without Khris Middleton. The C's should be the one killing the Bucks, but they keep shooting themselves in the foot. Game 6, let's see what they're really made of facing this type of adversity. This is the Bucks' closeout game. This is the Celtics' season. Who is hungrier.

I'd say the fact the Celtics are dealing with some injuries of their own (Smart, Timelord) this series didn't overshadow the competitiveness of it all, makes me feel good about the next couple years of Celtics basketball, regardless of this series' outcome. Just a really high level team.

We're the most successful team down 3-2. Maybe we do, but we need a lot of things to go our way. I'm trying to maintain the faith

We’ve largely been the better team for 4 out of 5 games. I think we can win the series because the better team usually wins the series. C’s need to maintain focus throughout the game though and not let game 6 slip thru their fingers

Man, through all the 5 games I've had the sensation we are the better team (well, maybe not the 1st...) but in both game 3 and 5 I had the feeling that all the f**king times we had the opportunity to kill them, we ended up missing it and let them come back in the game. Mainly there's a killer instinct lack in JT. And, overall, something's missing in our heads. I am not optimistic.

This team has fight. As long as they maintain focus and don't get caught up in too much emotion they can take it. They've had their regression back to early season woes, hopefully thats out of their system. Odds aren't in their favor but think they can pull it off. Imma give em the good vibes! Just win baby!

The Celtics have won the games they had to win (game 2 and game 4) after losses.  They were in position to win game 3 and game 5 but couldn't close them out.  Based on this pattern, we should win game 6 anyway.  We'll see.

I voted no, but I really wanted to vote yes.  I just don't trust our guys down the stretch like I would Giannis.  You can pretty clearly see the difference, even among great players, when you are looking at an all timer vs. just a normal great player in this series.  Night in and night out, you know what you are getting from Giannis.  He is just a different class of player than Tatum is right now.  Tatum can certainly get hot and match him over the next 2 games, and Boston can absolutely win both game 6 and game 7, but overcoming the force that is Giannis, I think will be too much to do.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Yes.  The team has performed very well on the road, and I look to us to come back and redeem ourselves in front of the home crowd on Sunday.
