  • GOT IT!!!
He's going to have to play great again on Sunday to get this done. Giannis is never going to stop coming. He continues to keep the Bucks in the game just enough for their role players to hit shots.

This. Dude had the first 40+point/20+ rebound playoff game since Shaq in 2001. It’s like trying to beat the T-1000. We can’t let up at all. We need four more quarters like the last four.

Tatum has been 5/27 shooting 3s in games 3-5. If he goes 10/27 we would have closed out this series already.

Time to heat up!!!

Or if he trades 6-7 of those attempts for assists, we win.
Assists involve other people hitting shots too.

This series should've been over in 5 with Celtics winning Games 3 and 5.

Here we are, Game 7. You like Game 7 if you're an NBA fan. You don't like Game 7 if you're a Celtics fan. Lots of pressure. Glad Game 7 is on our turf tho.

When you don't pass the ball, it's impossible for them to hit a shot.

He showed what he is capable of tonight. We need at least 75% of gm 6 tatum on Sunday and 0% of gm 5.tatum.

Giannis is averaging 39.5 MPG while shooting a career high 171 FGA (28.5 per game) over a six game span; with each attempt being high effort and having to help protect the paint and rebound. I’ve been waiting for him to hit a wall, but the man is truly a beast and among the best conditioned players of all time.

JT’s performance was MVP caliber, Smart and Brown were huge offensively, with a complete team effort on both sides. Game 6, down 3-2, on the road against last season’s Champs, came out guns blazing and countered every Bucks run regardless of how close they got. That took moxie and was a marvelous win by the Celtics tonight.

With a quick turnaround, our stamina and depth will be tested, there’s will be also. I now understand how important ball movement on offense is to winning for this team, when we make them work on defense, they can’t buy non-Giannis buckets. When they do that, they’re the best team in the world.

Celtics in 7!

Where's that thread about us looking like the 2003 Pistons?

I'd say we're the Bad Boy Pistons, regardless of the outcome of this series. I love it.

I think so. We've only really been outplayed over the whole game in one game, game 1. I think we've been better over the series. We outplayed the Bucks in the 4th quarter of Game 4, they outplayed us in the last 6 mins of this. I think we're the better team but we just have to have more composure during those high pressure moments. The Bucks have been through this last year and are battle hardened so there's going to be no cakewalks (much as we would prefer those for our health). They've won 2 at the Garden, we have to do the same at Fiserv. They don't have Middleton, so if anything they should be at the disadvantage.

This is the toughest matchup in the playoffs. If we can get past this I don't think we'll have to face another team as difficult for us as this one.

I really do think we're the better team. We just need to make sure we execute to the best of our ability.  Giannis has been awesome these playoffs, ref assistance or no you have to take your hat off to him. But we have the best team.

One more game, and they need to defend well, whether or not we shoot well. If we don't shoot well we can still win. I don't think Milwaukee can win unless they shoot well outside of Giannis. Keep moving the ball, trusting each other, trusting what has made us successful.

One more dawn...one more day...one day more!

I just hope they don't have one of those days where nothing falls. Worried we're going to die by the 3..

yeah well i still have PTSD from that 2018 ECF game 7 where we choked. forgive me if i am cautiously optimistic. expect worst hope for the best. this team is dr jeckyll and mr hyde. play stupid then smart. they put you on eggshells. you never know what you will get. if we play smart we win. it is that simple. DRIVE TO THE HOOP. it worked last game.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Giannis will get his, but the key is to neutralize the rest of their team. But really, as long as the C's don't turn the ball over and also rebound well, they should be good. 4th quarter of Game 6, they had 0 turnovers and overall I thought they did a good job boxing out and grabbing the rebounds.

i hope timelord can play

if he can just stop 3 giannis layups and get a couple lobs or putbacks that is a possible 10 point difference for us. i am sick of giannis waltzing his way to the rim. make him shoot 3's like the bum he is. all he can do is bowling ball his way over everybody for a layup. he is ben simmons on steroids. sorry he cannot hold a candle to lebron who can score from all over the floor at will.
