What's the record for the C's in series-deciding games (besides getting swept or ousted in 5 games) since 2017? 3-2?

Let's see what they made of, having to force Game 7 on the road. Can JT pull a LeBron 2012 in Milwaukee?

Group hug people.

Gotta regroup and play like champs next game. TPs for all. We are bettrr and we can do it.

I need CPR, not a hug.  ;D

On to the Friday the 13th game!

I’d also like some comfort food lol

I made a home made peach pie last night.
Would a slice of that make you feel better?

I’m thinking more like whisky.

Seriously though at some point a team has to win back to back games in this series. Let’s hope it’s us.

my liquor cabinet is all yours!

Celtics just refused to push their lead to 20 all game long.

When Giannis was shooting his free throws with 14 seconds remaining, why didn't Ime bring in Theis (or Kornet) for rebounding purposes. The odds of Giannis making both free throws was low, so why not have your better rebounders in the game.

I’m not a basketball player, so can someone explain to me whether what Grant did on the “box out” was correct or not. I think it was Mathews that he was trying to box out and Mathews went completely across the lane. Shouldn’t Grant have just stayed home and held position on that side of the lane instead of completely vacating?

I know Timelord was out---but at least suit up in case we might need ONE rebound to seal the win....but nope.

I'm not calling for ime to be fired, but even I with very limited knowledge of the game knows you put your bigs into the game for a rebound.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Yeah and it was really weak for Timelord to be in street clothes---you don't have to play him, but put him in to secure the game winning rebound for Chissakes.

Still ticks me off. Literally all we have to do is grab the rebound and even then worst case scenario is probably overtime. We likely win though.

This kind of reminds me of 2020 Game 3 vs Toronto with Toronto hitting that game winning shot in the final millisecond. That was another bad choke and was talked about a lot as well at the time but the C’s won that series in 7 games so that sort of squashed it

The C's thought they were the champs by dethroning the champs in the East Semis. And then only to get fizzled out by the Heat.

They didn’t beat the defending champs in 2020. They just beat a team with the same uniform. Once Kawhi left, Toronto was nothing.

They were still the #2 seed that year lol

Yeah, they were 53-19 that year. Better than any team in the East this season (by far) and would have only been 2nd to the Suns in the NBA. We are going to lose to a considerably worse team in the ECSF this year (since they are missing Middleton) than what TOR was in 2019-20. Maybe Kemba didn't suck as much as everybody wants to claim.

Such dumb basketball. I cannot believe we lost that game. The terrible boxing out on a Giannis free throw is just mind boggling. Ime so stuck on that 1 big lineup and it ended up doing them in

BwaaaaHaaahaaaaaa!!!!

Oh man....thats a take! Guess you didn't watch the rest of the seasom????

Sorry, But yeah at that moment...shoulda put in rebounding

Not understanding your reply at all. You say its a bad take and then agree with said take? And i was talking about this game obviously. 2nd half he was going with the 1 big with smart, white, brown, and tatum lineup because they played well with that in the 1st half. But gave up 17 offensive rebounds with the one on the Giannis miss being the most crucial of the game. Again you made zero sense
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Yeah, he's our only hope. The NBA has to be hoping for a 7-game series and he is just the man to do it.

What really sucks is that we can't even blame the refs tonight. They mostly stayed out of the way and we still completely blew it.

Tonight was the best and worst of the Celtics. From team to staff, they have no one else to blame but themselves.
