If we don't get more in the paint it's going to end up badly for us.
We need a better solution than relying on 3's.
Happy with the win but it didn't give me a lot of confidence.
This is how the Bucks have defended all season. They have 3 7 footers, they pack the paint and they prefer to give up 3s. They led the league in opponent 3FGA with 40.6 and in opponent 3 makes with 14. Nearly half of all FGs vs Milwaukee were 3s.

And they are 4th in the league in opposition points in the paint allowed (we are 2nd).

It will be interesting to see if Ime goes Bill Belichick and attacks the Bucks where they are strongest, or will he take advantage of the available shots on the perimeter. There's obviously a big difference in the quality of the 3s that we can take, tonight we were able to get a lot more open ones where we forced the Bucks into rotation with multiple dribble penetration from different angles and they hit them. We shot 46% from 3 tonight. I'm ok with those 3s taken. I don't like it when they settle for 3s without trying to get dribble penetration first because then the interior defenders don't have to do anything but get ready for the rebound.
But yes it's never comfortable when our team has to depend on hitting 3s to win

but it's a challenge getting to the rim when they have all that tall timber in there. It's the same challenge the Bucks are facing against us really. Giannis is shooting 20 of 52, he's having a torrid time trying to score. It will be interesting to see what Ime comes up with.
