I have a feeling that KD would secretly want to join the Cs. Ouch…
Hey, when OKC lost to GSW Durant went right out and joined them. I would not be surprised at all if he wanted to leave BKN for BOS.

That guy likes the easy way out.
He also is close with Tatum, and admires him a lot...

Kyrie at his post-game.

Mentioned his "fasting" as a factor in his fatigue. "I need to be spiritually grounded"

As a person of faith myself, I have all respect for a person's beliefs, but Irving is such a fraud, I cannot take him seriously.

Irving isn't wrong that fasting probably has an effect, but Jaylen has also been fasting.

What I found interesting though is that Nash said the same thing AND said KD's been exhausted lately since he's had to play 40+ minutes a lot lately (he went 46 tonight), BUT that also included the games leading up to the play-in game and the play-in game as well. That's true, because BKN was still fighting for seedings in the play-in and they had to play Cleveland in a play-in game.

It's definitely caught up to them. KD looked tired in the 4th today which was uncharacteristic of him. And I didn't even think it was because of the C's defense, he was just gassed and everyone could see it

And now the schedule becomes a game every other day. No two days off between games, which I think favors the C's since the Nets are an older team

Every player on both teams looked gassed in this on. Had to reach down for gut checks. Celtics did that again.

Oh, it's definitely the Celts defense. They are all over the guy.

Durant and Irving are tired and having to fight thru that swarming defense is showing.

Sticking with my original Tatum prediction a few years ago. 4 titles minimum when all is said and done.

I love Tatum. But it’s hard to win a championship. Think about what Paul Pierce had around him for a few years there at the end and he only has one trophy. It’s hard. Lots can go wrong. Heck, think about Karl Malone or Reggie Miller. Or Vince Carter.
Only one of the players you listed is a better player than Tatum is now (Malone), let alone what Tatum could end up as. And JT doesn't have to go up against Michael Jordan.

And all of that can be traced back to Kyrie and his "personal" decisions throughout the season.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but seriously as I'm watching some of these 1st half highlights (I was out 1st half so couldn't watch, just was using Reddit + this thread) but I'm LAUGHING at how ridiculous Ben Simmons looks in the sideline. Like seriously, everyone is wearing black or green or dark colors in the arena, and then you have this guy looking like the Rainbow Road map in Mario Kart

KD ends his presser:

"Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ty game man. Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ty game."

Said fatigue has had nothing to do with his performance which means the Cs are the sole reason for his problems.

Even better.

Actually I'm reading some tweets online, and yeah Simmons literally looks dressed like the Joker LOL.

This is when the older stars realize they can't reach that gear anymore.

KD with Golden State in Playoffs: 38-10

KD with other teams in Playoffs (OKC, BKN): 57-49

If the Nets lose this series, I think KD will definitely get scrutinized. He already gets scrutinized for basically purchasing two rings with the Warriors who were already a 73-win team without him, but outside of Golden State his playoff resume is a bit less stellar. And he's been on a lot of great teams too (OKC with Harden + Westbrook, BKN last year with Harden + Irving, etc.)
