Sticking with my original Tatum prediction a few years ago. 4 titles minimum when all is said and done.

I love Tatum. But it’s hard to win a championship. Think about what Paul Pierce had around him for a few years there at the end and he only has one trophy. It’s hard. Lots can go wrong. Heck, think about Karl Malone or Reggie Miller. Or Vince Carter.
Only one of the players you listed is a better player than Tatum is now (Malone), let alone what Tatum could end up as. And JT doesn't have to go up against Michael Jordan.

You know who looks dangerous? The Warriors. Curry and Dray are back healthy, and this new kid Poole can flat-out score - as we saw the last time we played GSW. Would not surprise me to see the Cs have to beat Curry and company in the finals. He’s not Jordan but he’s a worthy “big boss” to have to beat.

I was just having this chat elsewhere 5 mins ago.

Them having Poole is downright unfair.

That team gives me fits.

We always seem to match up well with the Warriors. It would be an amazing series.

Don't think we've played them at full strength yet?

Regardless, yeah, that'd be sick as heck!

Boy, Tatum is truly spectacular. Matching minutes with Durant, playing him one on one and doing so many things with and without the ball. 24 years old...spectacular. What a game that was last night.

Yeah, will be interesting to see what Tatum looks like when he enters his prime in 2-3 years.  8)

I rewatched the game.  Am I crazy to think this team has not even played their best yet?  I know Rob is part of that.  I'm not saying they are playing poorly but we've seen better and to me that's scary for the rest of the league.

Nah that's actually the crazy part. I don't think the C's have actually played super well during some stretches during the series, but they are still beating the Nets 3-0. Tatum for the first time this series had *THAT* game last night, and honestly I didn't even think Tatum looked spectacular for most of the game (some sloppy, inconsistent play). But guess what, he still had 39/6 with 6 steals and more great defense.

Again, not to sound like I'm saying the C's are lucky to be up 3-0, but I also think this team has more room to grow and improve as the playoffs progress.

Bodes well for the C's going forward! I also am looking at guys like Derrick White and think at some point, they'll pop off too. Best is yet to come I think

Taking Game 3 was huge. I go back to the 2018 ECF where even though things were going well, the C's just couldn't win any road games and then lost a close Game 7 sadly to a team with a superstar (Lebron). I still respect KD and the talent of Kyrie, so I wanted to avoid that possibility of a Game 7 this series. Even with how the series started (2-0 Boston), we all know things could have changed if BKN took both at home and evened it up again.

This team has definitely taken the next step, especially Tatum who honestly might be considered a Top-5 player in the league currently IF you also factor in his elite-level defense. They've won some games this series that they would have lost for sure a few years ago, or even earlier this season.

C's are now fully in control of this series and the Nets are reeling. A sweep would be icing on the cake.

What the hell are these idiots doing??? Get the dam ball into Tatums hands. Instead Jaylen wants to dribble the air out of the ball and pass it to smart for a dumb force..

Idiots is right
I think that's a bit dramatic given we're up 3-0 in what lots of people were calling one of the "hardest to predict" first round match-ups ever.
Yeah people are so dramatic lol
Its dramatic to want them to play smart the last minute of a game up 6 points? They were playing dumb basketball there for a couple crucial possessions. If the nets hit a couple 3s and tie it up and win in OT everyone would be looking at those 2 possessions as missed opportunities.. but you say dramatic LOL
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

Not this year. We've always played them tough  in the past. It would be a really excellent series.

Agreed. They are winning games now that even the 2008 team would have lost. The poise they are showing on the road and in big moments is impressive, especially for a young group.

If the guys up 3-0 are idiots, then I can only imagine what these people call the other team, lol.
You are picking a comment from the last minute of a close game acting like they were already up 3 games to 0. If the nets made a comeback and won it was 2-1 and everyone would be talking about how they let them back in the series. It was in fact 2 dumb possessions to just dribble the ball and settle for Marcus Smart 3 point chucks in a close game. They gotta tighten that up in the playoffs where every possession counts especially last 2 mins of a game..
