Since there was already a "big 3", out of respect for them we should name these new celtic core 3  superstars should have a different nickname, a nickname of their own is best for them and for the big 3. Which one is the best?

I like the trinity because was already have Jesus Shuttlesworth (Allen). I guess KG would be the father (always seems full of rage and anger -- ready to smite babies and livestock) and Pierce is the holy spirit.

Here is my top 10 names list:

10 The Trinity
 9 Three's Company
 8 Strike Three
7 The Butcher, The Baker, The Candlestick Maker
6 The Ternary Operator (nerd alert)
 5 The Medium Three
4 Three Egg Omlette (in honor of their shaved heads)
3 The Turkey (bowling term, also in honor of the heads)
2 Menage a Trois (fits the european start to season. sounds classy)
1 Three Men and a Big Baby

I am partial to "The Trinity," but maybe I should wait until after they win a championship to name them that.

I have to admit that does have a nice sound to it.

...as in Assists Per Game. What better indicator of a teams success, chemistry and ball movement than APG? We had 15 assists at halftime last night. Great time. If we are around 23 APG this year, we will roll through the East.

Allen
Pierce
Garnett

This is my first, it happened by accident. But because you said that I am half-tempted to rattle of 25 more threads of nicknames just to spite you.

Actually statistics indicate assists are a rather poor indicator of team success. Don't listen to Hubie Brown on that one.. Dallas when they were in the finals had among the FEWEST assist of any team in the league.

Rebounding and shooting percentage have the strongest correlations I believe.

Is that why the Mavs did so poorly in the finals? lol

And can a moderator or someone merge this thread with the Nickname thread at the top section please?
Anything is possible!!!

I heard KG saying "The Three-tles" during halftime of the game last night, and he also added "I'm Paul". That's bascially the worst nickname ever.

I didn't see this in the previous threads and I wish I had come up with it, but I didn't!!  Matty G over at GotGarnett.com has dubbed them simply "The Hustlers".  I'm diggin' it.
