I was looking at the free agent centers available…jahlil okafor, cody zeller, ersan ilyasova, marc gasol, meyers leonard. Slim pickings for sure.
If we sign a Center, gimme Daniel Oturu. He was the 33rd pick in the 2020 draft. I believe he'd be playoff eligible cause he was released by the Raps prior to March 1st. He's a defensive-minded, mobile Center who can protect the rim and switch ball screens on the perimeter. I reckon he'd be a nice fit on the C's. Obviously, he's a project, but at least he has the potential to become a useful acquisition going forward.

Correct on the bolded.

Sucks about Timelord, but if it is 'just a sprain' he should be ok for some of the playoffs.

I'd take a flyer at Cody Zeller. He was pretty solid with the Hornets

If he’s willing I’d go for Ilyasova. Good defender who would suit our scheme, can shoot the ball and is a decent enough passer.

Only if he’s needed though
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

  • Peace it's a board. We all will never agree.
It looks like a bruise to me form the play. I know we are all hopeful. I hope he can play soon and we can stay out of meeting the Nets in the First round. Hopefully our bench will rise to the occasion in Toronto wiht all the guys out!

Everything is going to be ok. The playoffs don’t start until April 16 so if Rob is out for anytime hopefully he will be ready by then. It sucks because the Celtics fought for number 1 seed which they will likely lose if Rob misses time. Have faith I don’t think it’s that bad and he will be back on the court soon!

I agree .  If it minor tweak , then  I would think he could be back for playoff.   Fingers crossed.

No worries guys. This will go as well as the time when we thought KG just had a minor knee strain.  ;D
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Steve Burton on the news last night called it a 'calf strain'. Maybe he mispoke?

Rob, unfortunately is a guy whose minutes will have to be managed for his entire career. Anyone who relies on his legs as much as he does is bound to have knee problems sooner or later. What's worrisome is that he's having them sooner.

Which is why I wasn't a fan of Ime playing him 30 mpg earlier in the season. He has backed of a bit recently but I just think Rob is a guy who's always going to be dealing with something - just because of how he plays.

Why can't professional sports teams have in house MRI machines and diagnostic equipment? It would help with quicker results and turn around times.

Shams says possible torn meniscus.

If this is true then he's done for the year.  4 week recovery then rehab.
