Ime Udoka says Robert Williams will travel with the team. He's progressing well and has had no setbacks and the 4-6 week timeline is still looking good. Yesterday was 3 weeks since his surgery

Some of you computer guys need to save a gif.   Of Smarts entrance to the Garden with his cape on his shoulders with DPOY in gold letters ……that is Celtics classic for all time…….I laughed all day it reminded me of the great boxers ring entrance in the old days .

I’m sure this Smart gif will have many uses in the future… ;D

On WEEI, they just announced that Shams said that Timelord could be cleared to play for either Game 3 or 4!  I hope the Celts are confident that he is strong enough to return.

That's crazy. I hope he can be back that quickly. He changes so much when he's on the floor.

Shams says Rob could be ready to play in Game 3 or 4!!!

I still wouldn't rush it. They're up 2-0, let him rest up a bit more and let him return maybe Game 5.

Either way - 3, 4, or 5 - as long as he's really ready, it's great news.  I'd love to see him play 2 games prior to the next series, if they get there.

If he’s good to go in game 3, I’d love to give him 10-15 minutes to just get some game reps.

The Timelord is back, baby!!

Oh geez he's really playing in Game 3? That's insane, pretty sure that's earlier than even the optimistic portion of the timeline (4 weeks). Obviously ecstatic but I just hope they aren't rushing him back either.

Barring a setback, Boston Celtics center Robert Williams III intends to return in limited minutes for Game 3 vs. Brooklyn on Saturday, sources tell ESPN. If those minutes go smoothly, the expectation is that he’ll resume a significant minutes load for Game 4 on Monday.

Yeah, then ramp him up to 30+ minutes in Game 4. We absolutely need to split these two road games.
