Now that we used two spots on Hauser and Kornet, I'm hoping we go with a defensive wing in Bembry, a serviceable big man in Favors, and IT as the 15th spot.
IT isn't happening. Why people can't accept that is strange. Brad was even asked about signing IT and in typical Brad fashion deflected, but in a way that made it clear IT wasn't going to be returning.

Guys I'm interested in on the market (or guys likely to be):

Guards: DJ Augustin and Goran Dragic

Wings: Satoransky, Bembry, Gary Harris

Bigs: Millsap, Derrick Favors

Millsap is cooked, I don't see Harris getting bought out, and Dragic is most likely going to Miami or Dallas.

Who will be cut loose to sign Dargic? Miami might have someone good.

If Eric Gordon is bought out he’d be a great weapon off the bench. His 3 ball is still dangerous.

He’s got another year guaranteed on his contract, so it’s highly unlikely he’s bought out.

Thanks for clarifying. I just saw his name suggested in one of the previous posts.

If Houston can save a million or two they might buy him out.

If Eric Gordon were bought out, there would be a feeding frenzy with every contending team trying to get him.  It seems unlikely to me that they would buy him out, he would still have some off-season trade value, but I have no idea what Houston may be thinking.

For the Celtics, he would now be a bit redundant to Derrick White but I would still take him for sure.  He is head and shoulders above anyone else on the list right now.  He is a legitimate rotation player on a contending team.

Players who cleared NBA waivers yesterday:

Armoni Brooks
Michael Carter-Williams
P.J. Dozier
Drew Eubanks
E'Twaun Moore
Paul Watson

Players set to clear waivers today at 5PM ET:

D.J. Augustin
DeAndre' Bembry
Moses Brown
Abdel Nader
KZ Okpala
Jahmi'us Ramsey
Robert Woodard II

If Moore would sign for a non-guaranteed minimum next season, I'd think about picking him up.  Or, D.J. Augustin.  Bembry as the second signing.

I'd keep the final spot open to see who else shakes out.  March 1 is a long way away.

I wouldn't mind bring Abdel Nader back. He shot over 40% from 3 last year, albeit on low numbers. He defends well, is long, and should fit into our system pretty well.

Kelly Iko: Since clearing waivers, a handful of teams have inquired about free agent sharpshooter Armoni Brooks, sources tell @TheAthletic — with the door still open for a potential return to Houston.

The definition of "sharpshooter" is expanding, apparently.  30.0% 3PT% this year.  He did play better in limited time last year.

He's unfortunately been struggling with his knee all year, and hasn't played in months.  He had surgery last year, and it looks like it didn't help much.

Former Kentucky Wildcat Willie Cauley-Stein has been waived by the Dallas Mavericks.

He hasn’t played since Nov. 27, 2021, due to personal reasons.

Does anyone know what is up here?  I saw him on an earlier "possibility" list.  Is he even going to try and sign with someone?

If you listen to the quotes from Brad Stevens about wanting guys you could rely on to go to battle in a 7 game series, I think it seems clear WCS is not on his list.

What's more.... the Cs now have a depth chart of Williams, Horford, Theis and Kornet at the 5. For a team that's highly thin in other areas, why would they sign a center?
