Yeah, you're being overly pessimistic here.
Yes, we played horribly and very dumb in stretches, but for this being (a) the first game of the season, (b) in Madison Square Garden, (c) Udoka's first game, (d) missing two important/one very critical rotation piece, (e) Brown's Covid situation, and (f) a historically bad performance by JT, there's some good to take away from this. The first half showed the potential of what we can be, even with a subpar Tatum and no Horford or Richardson.
If anything, Tatum should be the target of all the ire tonight.
