Hope I am wrong, but worried are gonna get two pretty boring games tonight. Both teams (philly without embid) and dallas seem pretty overmatched.

I think Dallas could be competitive if they can find a way to get Brunson going. Doncic is going to get his 30+, regardless.

James Harden definitely isn't the same guy as 4-5 years ago

Not even that long ago. In 2019-20 he averaged 34/8/7. His efficiency last season was much, much better than this season.

Will 76ers give him a 4 or 5 year contract?

5 years would be crazy, but then again Chris Paul got contracts I thought were mad and he's rewarded Phoenix. Not sure Harden can turn it around like CP3 did, but it's a tricky spot regardless. Either they gave up Simmons + others for nothing by letting Harden walk, or they potentially burn hundreds of millions of dollars on a past-it ageing star

Maxey is doing what everyone thought Harden would do.

These sound like tricky decisions but I feel like a lot of these guys, including Harden and Irving will get their respective max deals from their teams. I mean what choice do BKN and PHI really have? I'm not sure they can actually land another star if they let Harden/Irving just walk unless they trade other key guys on the team which kind of defeats the purpose.

But boy, Kyrie getting 250M would be.... OOF

In defence of Harden, there is no way Maxey can get the amount of looks he does without the insane amount of defensive attention Harden draws

I'm confused why Doc has DeAndre Jordan starting, yet Reed ends up playing more minutes in the game lol. Like I understand Reed tends to get in foul trouble which is why his minutes are sometimes limited like in Game 1, but he's still no doubt your best shot at winning games. They should let Reed start and go from there. Or even try Millsap/Bassey for some minutes?? Doc seems to love "Air Jordan" though

Yup. If we beat the Bucks, I fully expect us to make the Finals

I've always liked Draymond. I love his game, well, except the dirty stuff. He is tough, physical, smart, a great passer and bordering on all-time defender. He is the ultimate glue guy. I would have no issue with Draymond being a Celtic. I am sure Warrior fans feel the same way about Green as we Celtic fans do Smart

And yeah, I think Reddick hit it on the nose that the Draymond hate has a lot of racial undertones embedded into it.

Reddick referred to Draymond Green as future hall of famer.  That seems like quite a stretch.  Green is a polarizing player due to the bad (his sometimes dirty play, his antics) and also the good (his contribution to his team's success).  I think there is some truth in both sides of this.  I find Draymond to be a good but overrated player purely based on what he does on the court.  But I will also concede that race may play a factor in how people respond to his "antics".   It is hard for me to judge what someone else is thinking but I am very much old school and I find Draymond to be mouthy and dirty as a player, and I am critical of that.  Bill Laimbeer was hated and he wasn't quite as dirty or nearly as mouthy.

When I hear him talk on the TV, out of the heat of the battle, I find him to be intelligent and genuine.  I applaud that but I am critical of his antics.

He'll be in the HOF.  His resume is already pretty impressive and when you factor in that the basketball hall of fame is more like a hall of really good, he'll be in there.  Especially when stacked up against some of the others who are already in there. The championships are going to help his cause.

FWIW, his HOF probability is around 60%.
Ben Wallace isn't in the HOF.  He had a higher and more impactful peak than Draymond and is more individually decorated.  As far as the championships, Draymond was the 3rd or 4th best player on ever title team he was on.  I'm not sure how much sway that will really hold.

Ben Wallace is in the hall of fame.

Want to try again?
Ah, went in last year, the list I saw must have predated it.  Glad to see he made it in.  His HOF probability was only 45.3% which is lower than Draymond.

Hopefully. Got to get past the Bucks of course, but if we lose in the ECF then I'd consider it a choke from the C's unless if major injuries play a part. They really should be able to handle MIA/PHI IF they get there. I've felt for a while that the Brooklyn-Boston-Milwaukee bracket would have the team representing the East in the Finals (ex. so if BKN had beat BOS, then IMO BKN vs. MIL would be for the Finals)
