Joel Embiid may have a torn ligament in his thumb. Wow, this definitely opens the door for the Celtics. Sucks for Embiid but wow.

They better make it count and capitalize.

Sucks for Embiid but the door for C’s was wide open before this.

How does this open the door for us, given we wouldn't play them until the ECF if they progressed?

He played through it in the 2nd half and OT of game 3 which included hitting the game winner.  He practiced today when the Sixers have 2 days off before game 4.  Both he and Doc say he'll be ready for game 4.  Doesn't sound like it is that bad at the moment.  Of course, one bad/awkward hit to the thumb could change that.

Yeah, given how many shots he takes as part of the way he plays it could be aggravated.

Occasionally I'm reminded that Tristan Thompson is no longer our problem and it makes me happy.

He could have been an Horry or Iggy-like role-playing legend. But he drank his career away. Pretty sad.

There've been so many one-sided quarters in these playoffs lol.

Now despite a great start by ATL, the Heat are outscoring them 30-9 in the 3rd and lead by 13 now

Even without Middleton the Bucks are flatly and clearly better than the Bulls. They got their 1, don't see them winning again.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

I thought Chicago did alright in G1, and obviously did well in G2. This has been an abysmal effort

Miami just folding down the stretch. But that's absolutely an over the back foul on Okongu and a good box out by Herro. No idea why they don't call that crap anymore.

A lot of nonsense fouls like that in the NBA recently. Just punishing little guys for daring to box out or defend the post.
