Pretty curious if anyone is watching the lakers game
Tonight. You can see a lot of what I have been talking about the last few pages here. Just looks like Lebron has given up on the season now.

I was thinking if you swapped LeBron for Luka straight up would the Lakers get better and Dallas worse? I think it would.

Oh absolutely they would. That’s why I was snickering a bit at the people that have Lebron ahead of doncic for the season. If you just watch this game he is pouting, not moving on d, disinterested. He has taken 4 shots on the night and is just whipping the ball around the perimeter. He will probably get 12 points in the 4th quarter and everyone will point out he got 20 points efficiently. But watch the games. This couldn’t be more clear.

This is embarrassing.

Edit: I’m not arguing with anyone about Lebron anymore until they actually watch this half of basketball.

Yep. They absolutely did that half. Lebron would pass it off to someone and back pedal to half court. Reminded me a lot of that series when he was in Cleveland against us.

D Wade looks like Urkel with his tan pants and suspenders.

I was not basing my top 10 player ranking just on this season.  I was doing it more generally like you were drafting players for a 1 season championship run.  In my mind, just using this season is a MVP ranking for this season not a top player ranking.  KD is no doubt a top 5 player overall but I wouldn't have him top 5 in MVP voting due to lack of games.

Lebron pouts when things don't go his way and that affects his level of play/effort.  Don't think anyone on here would dispute that.  It's one of the reasons he is not the GOAT.

Lakers are at least showing some effort this half

If they come back and win this game, you're going to have to take the blame.   :(

I can do that. The talent levels on these teams are pretty even. I don’t think brunson, dinwiddie powell and finney smith should be dominating the lakers In LA if LA makes an effort. Lebron hit three threes in the third curious what he will have here in the 4th.

Putting aside Lebron and Doncic, the Mavs have much better players than the Lakers.

Much better is a real stretch. Who outside of brunson and doncic would be in our rotation? Dinwiddie is garbage since his knee injury. Finney smith would be an upgrade of grant Williams. The rest of the guys, like Bertans who has become a shooter that can’t shoot, are very limited.

Doncic has absolutely destroyed Lebron down the stretch here. Literally Lebron can’t stop him defensively and tried one on one repeatedly to guard him.

Over his last 15 games (prior to LAL game) Luka has averaged 33/10/9 on 47/42/73 shooting. Something has clicked for him to up his game to yet another level recently, somehow.

Honestly just kind of depressing. He is old and it is most apparent defensively. He can play smarter and more efficient on offense to offset his slower foot speed. You compare it to his efforts on curry in the finals a number of years back abs it is just a completely different. Player.
