Crappy news.  That's a pretty major wrist injury to keep him out that long.

Just the name of it sounds bad.

Indeed. Whenever it’s a dislocation of something that is usually broken (like Hayward when he dislocated his ankle while breaking his leg) I get concerned

Tough break for a young player.

As talented as he is, Zion Williamson's NBA career to me doesn't look like it will last that long unless he makes drastic changes to his body. Reports say he will be out for another 2-3 weeks at least and there's no real timetable for him to return. He also apparently doesn't look in the best shape according to reports (I haven't seen any pics/videos of him myself, just going off reports).

All the hype for Zion but it seems the bigger concern going forward should be his health. He's had injury concerns in the past but now you add in the general health (body) and things don't look that promising for him regarding a potentially long NBA career.

I imagine it's also going to become annoying for the Pelicans and their fans if this becomes the norm with him, where you wonder every season what he can really give you in terms of availability.

Zion looks awful. He looks like Barkley did his final year before retiring. They say Zion is now 300+lbs. Apparently he couldn't do any cardio during the off-season due to an injury so he ballooned up in weight.

The Sixers without Embiid and Harris (and Simmons) beat the Blazers.  Niang has been a good signing for them.  Drummond on a vet minimum contract might be the best value in the league.

His stats tonight 34min 14pts, 15 reb, 7 ast, 5 stl and 1 blk.

Last season I said he reminded me a whole lot of Big Baby, Glen Davis. He's living up to it now.

That's so cool. I love this kind of stuff, when things that are absolutely bonkers happens, like this.

On the tail end of the normal distribution curve.

Man Lilliard looks absolutely awful. I am wondering if the blazers may come to regret not trading him. Outside of chris paul, history of players his size in their early 30’s is a bit scary. (I realize this is a semi hot take I will probably be eating in two weeks)
