With their 3rd pick, the Nets are running to the podium to select Ja Morant.

Super interesting selection

Yeah, not sure I agree with picking Morant before several other point guards still on the board.

I like Morant more than any other point guard left on the board for the right team, but this board seems to be less high on him. If we're talking about performance next year, you could see Morant improving quite a bit. It's a harder argument to make, but one you can make nonetheless. With the majority of the season being just Morant and Booker (with Kawhi out), the Nets are going to have to hit the weight room with future picks

I was wondering whether Morant would be a starter or not in this 12 team league. If his shooting would hold him back and some other more well-rounded albeit less dynamic PGs would get the nod over him.

Honestly kind of shocked he lasted this long. I know he's a tricky fit on these types of teams, but still.

I think Young should have been taken last round.  He's the best value taken so far.

I was considering him in the 2nd round, as well as Donovan Mitchell if Beal wasn't there. Didn't think I'd be able to get both

Ah, there's Trae. Another probably polarizing player. I can't stand him! I honestly get the hype but just don't see it in the player -- he's not that good at shooting and he can't defend anyone. But I get why so many people are tantalized by his talent and if he can unlock a way to limit some of the turnovers and be more efficient from the field (other than drawing ridiculous fouls), then Embiid is going to love playing next to him. Huge upside!

That was the guy I was talking about early in the 2nd round. After the first 3 selections, there were two guys I had a little ahead of the rest. Zion was the first and he was the next selection. Trae Young was the other player and he lasted all the way to the mid 3rd round. I am shocked at how he has fallen here. I had him as an early to mid 2nd.

I thought about adding him next to Luka but I was not happy with the fit. Two ball-dominant engines who want the ball at all times is a tough fit.

Trae was lethal last year. I was shocked to see so many teams who did not pickup a playmaker in the 1st round pass on him in the 2nd round and even pass on him a 2nd time in the 3rd round.

If you skipped on him, I was genuinely thinking of a Young/Harden backcourt.

I feel like I've unintentionally gone down the path of drafting a team of trolls. Maybe that's the way I'll continue

Man I need a second to think. Gouki's team is in 1st after getting Young imo, so I need to nail this pick.

OKC are assembling a very strong defence. Just thankful Giannis and Gobert didn't pair, even if it would have been challenged with spacing.

I love that CP3 / Middleton / Durant troika as well. They are going to be the nightmare too.
