I have to admit I have no idea where I am going with this but I am selecting another all-offense player in Michael Porter Jr.

Gawd, I feel bad for poor old Gobert trying to cover all these guys.

Really, really like this pick. After the 4th round, I was hoping he'd be under the radar and would slip to me at 6.12. I knew it was a pipe dream but I'm still bitter.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Another guy who I had a hard time placing. His scoring is super efficient, and he could easily be have a breakout season next year.
Gotta admit, I had him as a late 6th early 7th pick.

He was someone I had, quite foolishly, overlooked. He was really good last season

Tough grader.  With that level of efficiency, I think this is the right round.

Your team is straight up nasty in terms of physicality. Really rugged (besides Ingram, but the other 4 make up for it)

I like MPJ at this point in the draft. He's hard to place but his production is really hard to ignore. I'm not sure about the defensive combination on that team, but Who had already committed to the offense-oriented cause so why not let it ride!

I had a really hard time separating him from someone who is basically bizarro MPJ - injury-prone, insanely good defender, not good on offence. Both intrigue me

Yeah, so did I. I don't like his defense. I was hoping for Anunoby here and when he did not fall I was not enamored with the other defensive or two way PFs. I was already looking at MPJ and wondering did I undervalue him entering this fantasy draft and I decided I did.

Plus, I liked how much MPJ could elevate an offense as a PF with his lethal shooting ability. I think he is playing the wrong position in Denver by keeping him at SF. They should move him to PF and spread the court more. He could be devastating there.

And not just efficiency in the regular season.  He's been nearly as efficient in 29 playoff games over two seasons.

This round has been brutal.  Porter and Anunoby were 2 of my top 3 choices and Grant and Barrett were top fallback options.
