I would love to see trade 1 happen but Grant Williams has zero value and you would be lucky to get a bag of potato chips for him let alone Kuzma. I think would you have to add an asset to move him.
True. Kuzma would be excellent depth at the 4/3 for us. He may require more such as Parker, who LeBron may delude himself into thinking he can spell some of his minutes. Bet LeBron would love playing with TT Kardashian again.
These moves would get us to title contention immediately:
BOS In: Beal, Kuzma, Hayes
BOS Out: 2021 2nd, 2023 1st, 2025 1st, Fournier, Timelord, TT, Langford, Parker, G. Williams, Edwards
WAS In: Fournier S&T, 2023 1st, 2025 1st
WAS Out: Beal (obviously Beal demanding the trade to BOS now)
LA In: TT, Parker, G. Williams
LA Out: Kuzma
DET In: Timelord, Langford, Edwards, 2021 2nd
DET Out: Hayes
Roster:
Smart/Pritchard/Madar
Beal/Hayes
Jaylen/Nesmith
Tatum/Kuzma
Horford/Moses
Round out the final 3 slots with ring-chasing vets (Kent Bazemore who is connected to Horford, Avery Bradley as an option at 2/1, and Dwight Howard to help with the glass), and maybe add one reclamation project now that Parker is gone (e.g., Tatum’s buddy Harry Giles). New roster:
Smart/Pritchard/Madar
Beal/Hayes/Bradley
Jaylen/Nesmith/Bazemore
Tatum/Kuzma/Giles
Horford/Howard/Moses
If Smart elevates his game to being a defensive pass-first PG and/or Hayes takes over starting PG with Smart as 6th man at 2/1, truly believe we could win it all following these off-season moves. Tatum/Beal are an elite top 1-2 duo with Jaylen undeniably being one of the best number three guys in the league, if not the best. It would be exciting to make it happen now rather than one year from now.
