What is the fascination with trading a sure thing for a lottery ticket, who is more than likely going to be an inferior player... I wouldn’t  trade Jaylen Brown for any player in the draft. He’s a 24 year old,
Two way all star wing player, which is the most important position in the NBA.

Just stop it. Evan Mobley is undoubtedly a good prospect, but he’s far more Chris Bosh than he is any of the guys you’re comparing him too
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

This is your 2nd horrible trade idea today to get Jaylen Brown out of Boston.  I don't even have to look to see who originated the thread haha.

This one is bad, your other ones are bad.  Maybe just for a day try to accept that Jaylen is an all-star that we aren't going to trade.

You may not want to but you need to  trade Jaylen for the right fit with Tatum.

You may think that.  I highly doubt that the boston celtics front office thinks that.

Trading Jaylen for some picks that don’t start until 2023. And picking up the carcass of Kevin Love. Do you think Tatum’s going to say: cool, cool, I’ll hang out in case you get Jokic to come here. And don’t worry, I won’t go somewhere else instead to join a team that didn’t throw a couple years of my prime away. Better hope one of those picks hits - if it does, maybe in 5 years we can have one player as good as the two we dropped like a hot rock.

Jaylen is not the problem. And is not the reason the FO is in trouble. Without the injuries or the Kyrie trade this team went to the finals at least once, maybe twice.

Mobley is a couple years away from being a consistent NBA player at best. Hes also 20 to 30lbs shy of being able to bang with some one like Embidd. Thats leaving Tatum as of now by himself carrying the team like in the playoffs, and that did no go well. I think the plan is, clean house this year, but be competitive and see what drops in their laps, next year be very aggressive with cap space and sign a FA.

Now for fun I did a three way trade with GSW and WASH. Lets say Tatum and Beal during the Olympics talk, Beal tells WASH he want to go to Boston and he's not resigning with them, so lets see if they can get something for him now. GSW magically get the second pick, well they don't need an other young center and would like to upgrade at the SF spot.

Brown/TT to GSW- Upgrade over Wiggins, younger and a good back up vet center.

Breal/Mobley to Boston-cause Im bias and it's my dream. lol Also Mobley could learn under Horford, which would be amazing.

Wiggins/Langford to Wash and a couple first round picks. With Beal wanting out they wont do better than Wiggins, he wont move the needle much and if they can move Russel this summer too, they'll be a loter team, and maybe can move Wiggins a year later for picks like OKC did. They're also possible dumb enough to do it since they traded Wall for Russel and now stuck between a rock and a hardcap space.

This would be the only way Brown for Mobely, and since no way this is happening, I'll say no.

LOL. The Celtics are in “turmoil” because they don’t think more like you? That’s about as conceited as it gets

Cross-posted; thought this was greenly’s other “trade Jaylen” thread posted earlier today.
