BRAD -  Bucks are not paying any attention or much to Butler and Adebayo.  Who basically don't even look at the net on the offensive end.  They are looking to "burn" you by passing to cutters,  players who flare back up to the 3 point line.  And once you start chasing, will pass the ball around.  Basically emptying your tank.

So Brad was not able to figure this out in last season playoffs and the last 2 games against them?   Its not like they did anything really different.  Maybe Bud is just a better/smarter coach.

AINGE - Bucks made a big move by obtaining Holiday.  They also tried and almost succeeded to obtain Bogdonovich.   Forbes was an underrated signing.  Connaughton was a solid resigning.   Portis was a good signing.
While the Bucks are serious in trying to build a contender. Danny makes minor moves and relies on his draft picks to help the team.

The Bucks have Giannis excuse shouldn't fly.  Since Celtics have Brown + Tatum = at least equal Giannis

At the end of the day, the Bucks have turned into a better team.  All facets

Still... how is it that the Celtics "fell"  for the Heat traps and strategy, over and over again?

The Bucks just got buried by the Heat when they were overwhelming favorites in the bubble last year. It is much more likely the Heat were ridiculously hot for a stretch of games, while playing in their home state. Or I guess Bud is now an awesome coach and Brad now sucks.

The Bucks have a monstrous defensive team. They also have multiple scoring weapons coming off the bench.  And a two time MVP.

It's not complicated.

The Heat got hot (pardon the pun) at the right time last year (they just couldn't sustain it against the Lakers).

And there were plenty of Celtics fans who figured out the Heat during last season's playoffs; I'm not sure why the Celtics weren't able to figure it out in time.

Other than Giannis and now Holiday

Who do the Bucks have as defensive stoppers

Its the system that makes their D solid

Where is Brad system?? Or have the players tuned him out/not paying attention

The Heat.   They are basically having the same issues the Celtics have this season.

C’s didn’t fall for their strategy, they were outmatched with a deeper/better overall roster and a superior coach who knows how to pick Boston apart. Again, this is Dannys fault for poor roster construction and Brad was just out-coached.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I have been loving the fact that the Bucks have been destroying the Heat in this series so far. The Heat deserve this whooping. There was no way the Bucks forgot how the Heat beat them last year, and are doing their best to humiliate them now.

The Better question would be, who are the defensive liabilities on The Bucks?

As for the last two games the Celtics faced against the Heat, you simply can’t discount how the Celtics players seemingly waved the white flag on the season at that point. Heck Jaylen Brown elected for surgery after the team lost that first game. This Bucks team has believed since the off-season when they traded for Holiday, that they were built to win the title.

The Bucks have the best player in the world.  That solves a lot of problems.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Ainge is to blame going with the misfits of the 2019 draft killed us and any depth.  The bucks know the value of veteran role players, almost every team not us knows.   Ainge played with some great ones like Jerry Sichting, Scott Wedman and the like.   He also played with the best front court ever and does not value them.  He was a tall guard as was DJ and he does not value them.  Go figure.
