So we're giving up the better players AND a first round pick?

Kemba is such a defensive liability and Marcus such an offensive liability, we’re getting the better players for our system. And they’re MUCH younger/fresher legs to play out Harden/Irving

Anybody watching right now who thinks Jaylen coming back is gonna make everything alright next season is just kidding themselves. We bring back Kemba and Marcus, we’re on the treadmill like Atlanta six years ago.
You're just perpetuating lies by arguing Kemba is a defensive liability. He's just small, but still ranks at worst in the middle ranges of defensive metrics in spite of this.

What is Lonzo and NAW meant to do? I love NAW, but he's a role player who could one day be a fringe starter. Lonzo is also incredibly flawed - he's flourishing in a role where he's handling the ball as a passer less, yet people expect Rondo 2.0.

That doesn't even address the unrealistic nature of the whole thing. Why are New York interested in Kemba if he sucks as badly as you say?

The ideal thing is to be able to move kemba for a switchable 3&D or better PF and move fournier off the bench. That'd give us a balanced starting 5 with size and switchability and bench fire power.
