I guess it's all about "expectations."
Fournier is a bench player. He's the 6th or 7th guy.
I didn't see a great deal from him in the playoffs, but, as he's a bench player? I thought he looked fine.
In turn, it will be interesting to see if they pay him. I could be wrong, but Nesmith, by his third year, should be significantly "better" than Fournier, but, that's 2 years away.
My bench for this year's playoffs was:
Teague
Fournier
Thompson
All solid veteran players who just need to keep the ship sailing while the assorted $35M guys are resting on the bench.
Brown is out, Robert is hurt all the time and Teague gets traded...whatcha gonna do?
