I'm glad Nesmith didn't't play in this one could've lost us this game were ewe again needed shooting.

Can't risk him getting injured and killing a trade tomorrow.

 But Smart did play....

Yeah no not seeing Nesmith tonight was a silver lining, means DA may actually be doing something.

I never believed Smart would be traded.

Why are people acting like this may not just be another baffling rotation decision by Brad? Lol That is just as likely. Nesmith went like four to five games playing great with great energy, only to be a DNP for like the next four after that and has only been intermittently used since then.

I mean that’s probably the case but I need hope right now lol!

I never pray. Tonight I am. I am praying there is a significant shake up tomorrow and that Smart is no longer a Celtic. Literally can’t watch him anymore. I’m so done. Literally inexcusable that JB/JT didn’t have a single shot with a minute left.

Is that Smarts fault or Brads? Maybe call a timeout with 13 second left and not 2....could have actually drawn up a decent play.

Yeah I really don't blame Smart for taking that shot with 2 seconds left, no one was open, there wasn't a 'play' being ran, or it was blown up.  Smart was just trying to make something happen by driving.  I actually LIKE that Marcus Smart.  Drive to the lane, look to kick, if you got a shot, Smart is pretty good at the tough finishing in the lane.  The Marcus Smart I don't like is the one jacking 25 foot 3s with 15 seconds left on the shot clock with no JB / JT touching the ball.  That is the Marcus Smart that needs to be traded.  If the good Marcus can't control the bad Marcus, he needs to be traded.

But it wasn't his fault at the end of the game, that was on Brad completely.

Some of you are being way too nice. Don’t get me wrong I’m not crying over this loss but this team deserves 0 credit. The only reason they even had to comeback was because they, as usual, played with sticks up with their butts for at least two quarters.

Play hard they would have won. I’m done with moral victories, the only acceptable loss is when they play hard and lose ( like our bad but hard working 15-17 teams).

Yeah, those 2015-2017 teams had a strong mentality. Even in losing, they still fought hard.

This team? All this talent and still losing games left and right? Pretty much the same team that made it to the ECF 6 months ago? Downright embarrassing!

I’m not absolving the coach but at some point Smart needs to realize he isn’t a star player. It’s the same issues with him. I’ll advised shots and keeping the ball out of the hands of their best players. It’s not rocket science. He’s not a rookie. He truly believes he’s on the same level as JB/JT. Literally took like 3 shots in the last 1.5 mins in a 2 pt game. It is ridiculous. He’s literally shooting like 15% from the field in the 4th quarter since Jan 1.

Tonight not on Brad. I thought he coached well. Last play was well designed. Theis makes it and Brad’s a genius.

If Semi wasn’t injured he probably would have been there instead of Theis?

I would've rather Pritchard take those Smart shots at the end of the game. I would've also rather Teague take them.

Attention: SMART IS NOT A SHOOTER!!!!

Why wasn't Pritchard or Teague in there when you need a three? WHY!!!!

This. Absolutely, Smart and the rest of the team own a share of the blame when they take bad shots.

But when it's this repetitive and it's clear that there's no semblance of offensive discipline or character on the team, that's a coaching staff issue. It's like raising a kid - if you enable them to continue to make bad decisions and demonstrate bad behavior, they're going to keep doing it.

The team doesn't respect the coaching staff, which is why these players just do whatever they want and take whatever bad shot they want. This crap doesn't fly under someone like Pop or hell even someone like Doc.

Yeah Tatum could have dribbled for 12 seconds and thrown up a contested 3. Sure.

So you approve of the team coming out flat?   Not giving effort until later on.  Yeah did a great job motivating guys.

Brad needed to sub out Smart at the end of this game.

Yeah right. Brad is designing the last shot for Smart

Lol. We we're never a title contender this year. That was the biggest preseason myth. It was cute, but it was never realistic.

Why is Smart in the game when you need a basket at the end of a game? Bench shot 12-19. Smart and Theis shot 7-22.
