Another example of why Brad just isn't the coach to take us to the promised land. He continuously makes the wrong decisions in end of game situations like that. Our last three shots were Smart, Smart, Theis - NONE from our top-4 offensive players tonight.

With Brad's skillset and how we've been playing, you ABSOLUTELY 100% call a timeout there with ten seconds left and set up a ATO play. You don't just let them ride and end up with a forced Smart drive to tie the game in the last seconds. Awful in-game coaching.

Good effort by the guys to get back in the game, but it's inexcusable that it takes them getting down that big and getting embarrassed to actually play hard. The players are somewhat responsible, but that's mostly on the coachign staff for not building that kind of commitment, culture, and character among the team.

Hoping for big changes tomorrow. But I'm hoping for even bigger changes this summer with a clean slate on the coaching staff. Too soft for my liking.

For as much as I like Kemba as a player / person, he just isn't who we need for this team.
He had a good 2nd half, good for him.   I still think both him and Smart need to go.  It is going to hurt, and we may take a step back for this year, but if Smart can't self discipline himself not to take so many bad 3's and Kemba can't guard a shoe (mainly because of size), all the great 4th quarter efforts aren't going to amount to crap.

Teague had a nice game.
for weeks he has played well. i hope he keeps it up.

Brad should've kept going with him 5-7 with 3-4 from 3 and +11. Maybe he should've played over Marcus.

I'm glad Nesmith didn't't play in this one could've lost us this game were ewe again needed shooting.

Can't risk him getting injured and killing a trade tomorrow.

 But Smart did play....

Yeah no not seeing Nesmith tonight was a silver lining, means DA may actually be doing something.

I never believed Smart would be traded.

Teague had a nice game.

Maybe the Celtics should ought to slide Kemba Walker to SG and start Jeff Teague at PG. Maybe that might help lol

I never pray. Tonight I am. I am praying there is a significant shake up tomorrow and that Smart is no longer a Celtic. Literally can’t watch him anymore. I’m so done. Literally inexcusable that JB/JT didn’t have a single shot with a minute left.

Is that Smarts fault or Brads? Maybe call a timeout with 13 second left and not 2....could have actually drawn up a decent play.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Some of you are being way too nice. Don’t get me wrong I’m not crying over this loss but this team deserves 0 credit. The only reason they even had to comeback was because they, as usual, played with sticks up with their butts for at least two quarters.

Play hard they would have won. I’m done with moral victories, the only acceptable loss is when they play hard and lose ( like our bad but hard working 15-17 teams).
yes. they would have won this and many other games. maybe this wakes them up.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Probably not but Nesmith not playing is a sign of nothing. He's always yanked in and out of the line up. Mostly out.

Yes, there’s no excuse for lazy play. Congratulations on almost coming back. This team doesn’t deserve moral victories, if anything it’s actually more frustrating that they almost came back because it proves they could have won this (and many other games) if they played hard.

I’m surprised so many people are encouraged by this.

Why are people acting like this may not just be another baffling rotation decision by Brad? Lol That is just as likely. Nesmith went like four to five games playing great with great energy, only to be a DNP for like the next four after that and has only been intermittently used since then.

I was not impressed with the coaching down the stretch.  No time out, I get he was trying to use the momentum.  Also would have liked to see Rob in there for a second chance on a miss/lob.  I thought Teague should have been in there at the end the way he was playing instead of Smart.

If we had the effort we had in the fourth the whole game we'd won.   This not showing up and playing w/o  Celtic pride and effort is for the birds.

Tonight not on Brad. I thought he coached well. Last play was well designed. Theis makes it and Brad’s a genius.
