Danny just took the year off. Bane has played better than Fournier so far in the playoffs.

I hope Fournier makes me look dumb tomorrow night!

C'mon man. I like Bane but using a 1 game sample size is not helping your cause

I hope a bigger sample size proves me WAY wrong.

Bane would have rot on Brad's doghouse and would play him beneath Semi and Grant.

You can't go into the playoffs with maybe six guys you trust to play. Seems a lot like last year. The Celtics look too cheap to compete!

It stinks when late round players you could have selected are actually decent, but I don't think Bane would really make our break our franchise. We don't have any proof that we would have actually taken Bane either. Yes, he was the choice at #30, but he wasn't necessarily our choice. He would also not be playing half the game or be getting nearly the usage in Boston.

Besides, I just choose to look at it as the compensation we gave up for the Hayward TPE. We gave up two of our future 2nds to CHA, but we received two (better) 2nds in return for the #30 pick. We are still all square as far as our future picks go.

I agree.  He's averaging 9.9PPG with Memphis in just over 23MPG.  Does he even come close to that in Boston?  Doubt it.  So who are you sitting for him, Pritchard?  OK, 7.7PPG in just over 21MPG.  There was no G League for them to be sent to as Maine opted out.  His playing time would be a fraction of what it is now in Boston.

Side note, Carey was the guy I wanted at 30.

Bane brings passing, shooting, ball-handling, and rebounding off the bench. We could use all of that even if he only got small minutes.

It's not just the shooting it's also pulling guys out as they are a shooting threat. The problem with Langford is that no one has to guard him on the offense end of the floor.

Dude - you need to let it do.  This is bordering on lunacy.  He is a nice player but you would think that he is the next coming.  If it makes you feel better, buy a Bane Grizzlies’ jersey.

I don't even think he's a starter on a championship team but the Celtics need a talent upgrade. At this point ( TIMELORD out) , Bane would be the best player off our bench. Traded away for nothing.
