Tatum was great tonight and he mostly played off the ball.  Fantastic!

Fun win, and just 2.5 hours before my Birthday (on the East Coast)!!  8)

Down 8 with 3 minutes to go, I didn't have much faith. Thankfully the C's gave me a nice early birthday present lol

TP for your birthday! I will gave to give it an hour later since I just gave you one for the game

Thanks! TP to you as well  ;D

This game shows how much we need another wing.

Someone like Nesmith maybe?

Was he hurt tonight?

Tatum used good discretion. He picked the right moments to make the big plays.  Showed a lot more trust in his teammates tonight, even in moments where they didn't always deserve it.

And that last defensive stop was awesome!!!

Agreed. Didnt force a bad shot in the 4th

Had to feel good for Tatum getting the best of his buddy Beal down the stretch, haha.  Forced the TO on the baseline, cooked him in the post to take the lead, and forced the miss to win it.

The saying "by the skin of their teeth" come to mind.

Glad they pulled it out.  Still work to do.  With no Brown and Smart and Tatum still not 100%, we are thin but still should not have 18 turnovers.  It is coming though.  I liked Kemba's game tonight and he can still get better.  8 Assists is great.  With Smart and Brown he would not need to take 17 shots.

Theis had 20 points and 9 rebounds....I'm soooo glad we didn't trade him for Anthony Davis.

Yep, we signed an All-NBA PG to run our offense last year. I get that Kemba has taken some time getting up to speed and we also want the Jays getting some reps leading the offense; but Kemba coming in with 6 minutes left in the 4th and hitting Theis four straight times really settled the team down.

Tatum was able to pick his spots, was efficient, and he was the opposite of lethargic down the stretch of this one. Having a healthy Kemba should really only help elevate Tatum's game, not take away from it.

The awesome thing is that they didn't just settle for bad iso-shots in the final minute. Tatum drove to get his buckets. Who knew good things could happen like that

That can't be. Gary Washburn said Theis wasn't any good.

Nesmith played well 3 games in a row and then he’s a DNP tonight. Green gets 33 mins  and finishes with a negative +/-.

Even Javonte had a decent game, no turnovers.  Please stop playing G. Williams.
