Fun win, and just 2.5 hours before my Birthday (on the East Coast)!!  8)

Down 8 with 3 minutes to go, I didn't have much faith. Thankfully the C's gave me a nice early birthday present lol

I know we all want to see more of Nesmith but Javonte was 4-5 for 8 points and had some hustle plays, he made the most of his opportunity. And Semi didn't shoot well but that corner 3 was big for us in the context of the game. But JT was poised under pressure with the game winner and Kemba was solid.

Of greater concern was our defense, we let Beal go off for 46 points though he did take 29 shots...defensively we're not there yet, that's where all the work needs to be focused.

Tatum put the team on his back and just drove us home. That's what star leaders of the team do, and notice that he did it - twice! - by taking it to the basket.

Would be so awesome to somehow get Beal here. Man is so offensively talented and can hold his own defensively, too.
yep. and CBS called the right plays and put in the right players. great coaching at the end.

whew....these games are killing me. tps for one and all.

People will look at Kemba's iffy shooting (which really wasn't that bad at 7-17), but his passing in the 4th was on point - especially the Theis combo on those 4 straight plays. Tatum was big time to finish this thing.
Agreed. He was great tonight.

This game shows how much we need another wing.

Someone like Nesmith maybe?

If Kemba can pass like he has the last two games, that will offset poor shooting performances. He played well enough.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Tatum's only had like 3 points this quarter. Really??
You’re on anti-jinx duty come playoffs.

Tatum used good discretion. He picked the right moments to make the big plays.  Showed a lot more trust in his teammates tonight, even in moments where they didn't always deserve it.

And that last defensive stop was awesome!!!

Yeah, he'd work if we could get him. 8)

I love JB but I’d send him packing for Beal. Beal is legit offensive dynamo.
