Quiet night for Brown...15-7-5, solid game.

He played hard but not well. Some costly turnovers at inopportune moments.

His handle was offensive. It said he had 4 turnovers but it looked like twice that.

Brown is turning the ball over left and right.  I know that he (unlike Tatum) is trying to involve his teammates but his handle is very loose and he is making some absolutely bonehead passes.  I wouldn’t trade him for a lot of people but I would for Beal as I think he would take us to another level.

Indiana is a team of nice, complimentary players that would really help other teams with one or two stud players.  If Indy had gotten Hayward and/or managed to hold on to PG, they could have been a really good team.

Yeah, Indiana cheaped out on Hayward they should've gave Danny what he wanted and gave Hayward that big contract. When is a star player going to want to go to Indy again? That's why they were so mad. I think TIMELORD is a better player than Turner.
I think Timelord definitely outplayed him tonight

This season Beal is averaging 3.2 to per game. Brown is averaging 2.8.

I’m sure others have made this point but boy, we won a game when Tatum and Brown BOTH didn’t have it? Against a playoff team!?  :o

Yeah, but I bet you Beal’s usage rate dwarfs Brown’s usage rate so that should be expected.

In place of “betting” perhaps you can do research instead?

Beal 36 Brown 31.   And Brown’s usage rate has definitely gone down with Kemba’s return and Tatum’s return from his COVID hiatus

Cs need to start Rob.
They need him on the court at the end of games. Was shocked that Brad tonight actually put him in during the final minute.

I think TIMELORD is the better player and he makes 16 million dollars a year less.

I don't disagree.  I just would like to see him be on the court more than 20min.

Didn't watch the game but just saw box score then came here to see what was said about Tatum and looks like Brown is the one getting dogged?

Tatum only scored 9pts  shooting 22%, and this is our superstar? Yea brown had 4 TOs  but 22% is terrible for someone who is suppose to be go to guy. Off night in a major way, worried slightly about how Covid has potential affected him be could continue???

Can we not worry about this??

We won

Can't have it both ways

People killing him calling him selfish and ball stopping

So he tried today to make the extra pass and do the other things.   It led to others having good games. And we win

I will take it.

It's an interesting comparison. Brown does commit turnovers at a higher rate (TO%), but he also scores more efficiently (particularly from 3), rebounds much better, plays better defence and isn't too far off assists per possession.
