When Pritchard is on the court he pulls that defender way out because of his status as a shooter. You could see it all night. He also creates a lot of hockey assists with his passing. His stats don't pop out in this game but he was excellent tonight.

If Teague played like this most of the time the Celtics would be the three seed right now.

He had a decent game against the Hawks too. Maybe he’s finally figuring things out.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I agree with Brad our defense was more lucky than good.

and his defense was fine. not great, but certainly good enough. i worried mostly about his defense in the nba, but he has shown he can defend most other players.

good to see him do well.

Honest opinion - would you trade JB for
Beal?  Looks like JB is regressing to old
Jaylen.  Shot has deserted him and his handle is loose.  So many bad turnovers (especially in big spots).  Although I was hesitant earlier in the year, I’m all on board to make that trade.
Premature to trade a young All-Star because tendinitis and a general team slump is altering his game

Add to that, he’s on a very reasonable contract. Give him time to turn it around. His shooting percentage (specially from 3) probably peaked already but he should still be a pretty good player moving forward. I think the negative press might also be getting to them.

Unless you are using "regressing" in the context of maybe the last two games, well, I don't even know how to answer the rest of that.

That was like the worst Tatum game of his pro-career. 9 points only?

But surprisingly Kemba had an outburst.

Tatum looked toasted in this one. He's gassed.

Indiana is a team of nice, complimentary players that would really help other teams with one or two stud players.  If Indy had gotten Hayward and/or managed to hold on to PG, they could have been a really good team.

We played with so much energy tonight.

So happy for Kemba.

And Rob.

And Jeff Teague who was the guy I remember.

We can turn this thing around!!

Even when Tatum and Brown have off nights.

Yeah, Indiana cheaped out on Hayward they should've gave Danny what he wanted and gave Hayward that big contract. When is a star player going to want to go to Indy again? That's why they were so mad. I think TIMELORD is a better player than Turner.

Quiet night for Brown...15-7-5, solid game.

He played hard but not well. Some costly turnovers at inopportune moments.
