Gordon's mediocre defense is disappointing to me.  A guy with his physical tools should be one of those rare defend-1-to-5 guys but he just doesn't have the instincts or the interest to be that kind of player.

Agree 100%

Gordon might not have a shooter's touch, but he could dominate in other ways. Instead he is largely invisible.
I said it when Gordon was the hot name on here, and I'll say it again:

People like the idea of Aaron Gordon, rather than the player Gordon actually is.

It’s what he would be be in the proper role. He’s not a point guard. He’s not Gordon Hayward but they are playing him like he is.

Celtics have 101 points

my question is, by the end of the game, will the Magic have at least 101 points?

If he's smart he could find a very productive role as a Shaun Marion type player.
I think that's the thing though. His basketball IQ isn't very high, if his bad shot selection is an indication of anything.

I agree with you, but in fairness to him, I think part of his shot selection issue is just the fact that Orlando has few offensive threats.  It's Vucevic... and that's pretty much it.

Vuc can't take every single shot for them, and Gordon trying to play bully ball is legitimately one of the next-best options they have.

Should we be ecstatic that we're blowing out the 6-5 Orlando Magic

PP is for reals.

That’s disrespectful to Shawn Marion lol.  I mean, he was a 4x All-Star

I think Gordon could be very good if he played within himself. Keep in mind Marion had Steve Nash feeding him the ball. There was no need or point to forcing possessions.

Gordon really hasn't played with any hood distributors at all. It is pretty crazy actually.

Pritchard is such a difference maker out there.  Really amazing to see what he’s brought to the table at such an early stage.
He takes the team to another level. He's making all these bench guys we've complained about into better players.

Good shot from Nesmith. If the 3 isn’t hitting take it to the rim

The best point guard is played with fultz.
