Mods if there’s already a Harden mega thread please merge, I didn’t see one (though looked quickly)

Apparently Harden has now added the Cs to his preferred trade destination list.

He’s clearly desperate to get out of Houston.

I wonder if Brown’s play last night changed any minds.

Harden in Portland would be wild. Presumably McCollum + everything besides Dame for Harden
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I hope not.  I don’t want to see Dame get poisoned like that.

I’m sure Houston has zero interest in Kemba, which is the only trade that makes sense.

Agreed. I understand the argument of trading Brown based on current status of both players but Brown is getting better every season, and based on his potential, his love for the franchise, and his friendship with Tatum it’s just not a good move to trade him for a 31 year old malcontent like Harden.

Now if you could somehow get Harden without giving him up then you have to do that, but like you said I don’t see how Houston accepts a package that doesn’t include Brown.

really? now you see the light?

Rockets can have anyone but Brown, Smart, Tatum, Teague and Thompson.

Opposite of the Cs I think Portland needs to do everything in their power to get Harden. Their current roster isn’t working and Dame is aging.

If you could get Houston to accept a package around McCollum you take it and run

good point ,   probably not a great idea to breakup Brown / Tatum duo and upset Jason

They don't want worn out kemba  and our rookies .  They d have to be really  desperate.

I kinda doubt Bron would want him.  Bron likes to rule the roost ,  not sure Harden wants to be told how , when and what to do by another player.

Yeah, unless they can get a 3rd team to trade prospects for Kemba, I don't see this happening.

There's no way in hell I would trade Brown or Smart for him at this point, and we won't even mention Tatum.

You also have to wonder about Ainge if he does this. The Kyrie trade blew up in his face, as did the Jeff Green trade a while back. Does he think the third time's the charm?

This current C's team looks like they've got great chemistry and they complement each other's skills well on the floor.

No thanks.

Would much rather hold on to what we have (Kemba, Smart, Jaylen, Tatum) and do a trade for someone like Barnes or Aaron Gordon in the future (using TPE and not needing to give up too much else besides picks)

I think he saw Smart draw about 1000 charges on Giannis last night and decided he better join that team instead of playing against Smart again.

Just got an upset stomach. I would not trade Brown so no way the Rockets would except Kemba..they want a young budding star and Brown is the ultimate grab in a trade. Simmons would be second.

If Danny can turn Kemba and company for Harden in some third team trade masterpiece, than I guess he should give it consideration. But, what is to stop Brown or Tatum from not being happy being moved one back on the alpha chart? It could all blow up in our faces fast as the Kyrie trade did. Tread carefully.....

Yeah, me neither.

I don’t know of a 3rd team that makes sense either, without giving up one of the Jays.
