I understand many people are having a limited Thanksgiving so there may not be as much routine arguing with the relatives as many are used to this year.
But, you still are missing my point

For example: talking about whether or not the fact that the Rockets had a 1/72,000 chance of missing 27 straight threes after kicking the absolute snot out of the Warriors in the first half of the game (holding Curry to 0 points) matters less than, overall, they fell short over and over and over again in increasingly outlandish ways.
Statistical improbability, then, defines the narrative: because there's no way that holds over a large sample size, the fact that it came at
precisely the wrong moment is more interesting than their exploits during the regular season. It's an obnoxious cliche, but "that’s why you play the games" holds true.
Again, one great team, a few very good years, one untimely Chris Paul injury vs one untimely Kevin Durant injury (which we haven't discussed but clearly this has an impact)... They wound up Wile E. Coyote.
As for the Celtics: We're probably one move away but the moves that appear to be on offer most likely don't get us over the hurdle. It'll be a more fruitful discussion once we're closer to the end of the trade deadline.
