Solid couple of hours for Danny, filled two positions of need with solid veterans.

Theis / Thompson / Williams
Tatum / Williams / Semih
Brown / Langford / Nesmith
Smart  / Edwards
Kemba / Teague / Pritchard

Room for one more?

Generous slotting Edwards as backup 2.   Of course, Brown and Kemba also will have minutes there.

Do you like Edwards?

Seriously... C's have five guys who can play PG Smart, Kemba, Waters, Edwards, Pritchards why sign Teague? They just lost Hayward, sign a big wing player. What is the obsession with guards?

Teague is an upgrade over Wannamaker, and a solid insurance policy behind Kemba. Too risky to rely on Waters, Edwards or Pritchards in that role.

Signing Teague is a sign that the Cs intend to compete, hard, this year. This isn't about developing recent draft picks.
Celtics fan for life.

You know Kemba is still recovering. He may not even be ready at the start of the season... as per Danny interview a few weeks ago

Smart, Teague and Pritchard may need to make up the mins at pg

Solid signing. Very good replacement for wanamaker.

We lost a lot of shooting though (i dont count rookies yet). I think a move for a shooting wing/big and we are set, less top end talent but better balance

And all five of them have proven to be great passers lol 😂
The latter 3 have 30 minutes of nba experience combined

Need a combo forward to slot in ahead of Grant Williams and Semi. They should not be relied on for regular minutes next season.

So you guys are saying all those guys were bad picks? Because if they can't play and are 3rd stringers how do we keep saying DA is doing a great job drafting.

It's nothing but green kool-aid around here with everything DA does. These are bad moves or a lot of bad picks. You can't have both be positives. Pritchard, Edwards and Waters aren't 19 year olds. If they can't play they should be cut.

And you still have Smart and three other guys besides him who play SG to allow Smart to play PG. So again you don't need Teague. DA is blowing the off season.

League is a solid 3 pt shooting.

But his bread and butter is drive, slither to the basket and finish. And ones. He is good at avoiding getting shot blocked

Celts lacked this vs Heat.

This is not development team ... if they show they are capable in practice and Maine play them if not good bye... of course Danny likes to have 8 guys with 4 years of experience combined on our team at the start of any given year
