For Bledsoe and Hill (and picks).

Great trade for the Bucks.

I don't know what picks are being traded but this feels like a sell-low move for the Pelicans unless they're really high on Bledsoe.

Barring something unforeseen with Hayward, it looks like we might run it back at this point.

Ugh, Milwaukee is going to be even tougher now. Great trade for them.

I'm guessing we're running it back with everyone.

Might be the best move for us right now tbh - I don't see any potential upgrades we can make unless guys like Paul George become available.

lateral move?  Jrue Holiday is by far the best player in that trade.  Gives Giannis and Middleton a legit all star running mate.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Holiday is overrated.

Even with AD the Pelicans went nowhere. Holiday is too behind the scenes. Not worried

Wowzers. 3 1sts + 2 pick swaps for Jrue? David Griffin making out like a bandit again.

Better hope Giannis signs an extension now. That's all this is about, and if he leaves that is a major blow to their franchise for the next decade plus.

So it is Bledsoe, Hill, 3 1st round picks, and 2 pick swaps.

Bucks going all in with no draft capital to do anything else.  They have to believe Giannis will sign the super-max with this move or they wouldn't have done it.

He is the 3rd best player on the Bucks.  a 20 ppg all star with excellent defense.  On no planet is Holiday overrated.  He is a very good player, which is all anyone ever calls him.

3 firsts with 2 swap rights is pretty steep. If this doesn’t work this season for Milwaukee and Giannis still leaves, this has all the makings of the Nets disastrous trade with us. This could absolutely decimate their foreseeable future.

Considering they aren’t a free agent destination, they really are pushing all in on their trio. Gutsy move, but something they probably have to do to retain Giannis.
