So Redick must be available too? He'd be a great floor spacer for the Cs.

[dang]!!! That's a huge pick haul for Jrue! Gotta give credit to the Bucks for going all in to try to make Giannis happy but if they don't win a ring with this group and Giannis walks they are screwed.

3 firsts with 2 swap rights is pretty steep. If this doesn’t work this season for Milwaukee and Giannis still leaves, this has all the makings of the Nets disastrous trade with us. This could absolutely decimate their foreseeable future.

Considering they aren’t a free agent destination, they really are pushing all in on their trio. Gutsy move, but something they probably have to do to retain Giannis.

Best part is that Jrue is going to be a free agent next year, too, and he's going to be looking for big money again for one last big contract. He could very well walk next year.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

No Holiday

Now if Hayward opts out... that will depress many here

Hoarder Danny will never lose trades. This is what I have come to accept

If Giannis signs the supermax, the Bucks won't really care if Holiday leaves after the year.  I mean they will care obviously, but if they keep Giannis for 6 more years and have a better shot at the title this season, you make the trade every single time without a second thought.  They have to keep Giannis though.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Sure but Giannis is not dumb. I can't see him re-signing if Jrue walks and they are left with an empty chest of draft picks on top of it. They would need a miracle to legitimately contend then even with Giannis.

Woah, this move reeks of desperation for the Bucks. They're banking on Holiday being the difference in keeping Giannis.

For Bledsoe and Hill (and picks).

Giannis will be offered the supermax in a week.  He will either sign it or he won't.  Holiday's free agent decision the following summer will be a thing in the past.

To be fair they can probably get Giannis to agree to a S&T with how much the lad loves the franchise if he wants to leave next summer.

I mean a trio of Giannis, Middleton and Holiday with a supporting cast of decent role players is a really strong team.

They better hope so, because three 1st round picks and two pick swaps is a heavy price to pay.

I may be wrong but I can't see him signing an extension this offseason. He will want to see how this works this season before committing long term.
