All this talk makes me want to do another historical draft, lol
I'm game.  I think something like entire league history but no top 10 draft picks.  Be a lot more about team building with so much less talent available (though obviously still some great players).
I’d never thought of that as a draft setup. Could be really cool
It is harder to police, per se, but isn't too bad.  Maybe just no top 5 picks so there is more talent available and less restricted players.  May make the managing portion easier.  But when you eliminate guys like Lebron, MJ, Shaq, Hakeem, Kareem, Bird, Magic, TD, etc. it becomes a lot more interesting from a team perspective and if your reach for fit you will be hurt a lot more.
What do we do with territorial picks like Wilt?
I'd count all territorial picks like they were top 5 or 10 picks and thus keep them out.  There are only like 21 of them so it doesn't add much.
Sounds good. If this goes through I would like to keep the number of participants in such a draft to 10 or below since the amount of generational players available would be severely limited by a top 5 or top 10 restriction. The list of really great players trails off with a top 5 restriction and they turn into a handful of lads with a top 10 restriction.
there may be more than you think but it definitely becomes about team building and I think the modern guys like Giannis and Kawhi would get a lot more love
I doubt it, there are just so little players drafted outside the top 10 who turned into true franchise players (like top 30-40 peaks of all time). Also yeah Giannis and Kawhi would definitely be a top pick with either restriction.
Kobe would probably be next, along with Karl Malone.
I'd have the Doctor over both Malones but yeah.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

Garbage opinion. I used to like Bill, but it seems like he is just struggling to hold on with outrageous takes/ideas as as of late. This may not be the case (I have no idea what his level of popularity is now compared to what it used to be), but this just seems desperate.

He's making several million dollars a year, or thereabouts, to be a sports pundit. It's a lucrative business, it's also competitive, and he has to make news.
