Yeah, not taking it as well as others. That was the definition of a disaster and I definitely had a hard time sleeping. Going from 3-0 to 2-1 on a shot that never would have happened outside of the bubble (Lowry was so far back from the sideline on that pass) is really rough.
Toronto now has all of the momentum moving forward. I know they are all professionals, but they are young and I think it will be difficult for them to let go of what could have been. Not saying the series is over, but I fully expect a best of 3 after Saturday night.
That momentum thing is overblown. Let me give you two examples:
1) 2018 World Series - Kinsler throws away the ball on what would've been the final out in game 3. They would've lead 3-0, instead 2-1 with the next two games in Los Angeles. How did that series end up?
2) 2002 ECF. Celtics vs. Nets. The Celtics came back from a 22 point 4th quarter deficit in game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead, with game 4 in Boston. The Celtics didn't win another game in that series. Nets win 4-2.
This Celtics team has the mettle, leadership and chemistry needed to shrug this off and double-down their intensity for the rest of the series. Go Cs!
