Last night's game was definitely the rare variety that leaves your head spinning.  I think the last time this happened to me was after the 2003 Red Sox/Yankees Game 7 extra inning debacle.  Definitely after the Patriots two weird losses to the Giants in the Super Bowl.  Those games were all of more significance, but the way they happened were mind boggling.

Weird night's sleep for sure. There were just two many ways that that coulda shoulda woulda ended differently last night.

ah well

on to game 4

Tried to distract myself by playing counter strike lol but was still annoyed. Call me crazy but I take losses and esp these kind of losses very seriously lol. It was a great look by OG no doubt, but you just can't let that circus shot happen.

Patriots losing to the Giants, Eagles, and Broncos also left a weird taste. Didn't care too much about the loss to the Titans because the Patriots were already exposed at that point, but just sad to see Brady leave that stadium for the final time.

I felt better because it was a blown coverage.

Had he made a contested miracle, I’d have been p---ed at the luck.

That made me feel worse, not better!

My wife and I both watched the game (rare for her) and we agreed it was a great game.  Heard the same thing from Perk and Scal on the post-game.  It was basketball at its best; both teams worked their tails off on both ends.  The height of their craft.

I slept fine.

Lousy, but I’m in the hospital. ;)

The result last night sucked, but for as bad as Tatum was, we shouldn’t have been it.

Oh absolutely.  As a fan of the game thoroughly entertaining.  Even the last play, look at the athleticism of Jaylen Brown attempting to block the shot full extended from a good distance away.  And I wasn't even upset by it or anything, just mentally discombobulated a bit.

Bit of a stomach punch game but I still feel really good about the Celtics changes this series after what I've seen out of the first three games.

Me too.  I feel like the only way C’s lose is 3 more miracles.

Awfully bold of you to assume I slept last night  :P

Jokes aside, it wasn't easy falling asleep. I tried avoiding social media mostly lol.

I think the last time I've felt this way was after Game 3 of the 2018 World Series. If you remember, they lost it in 18 innings and the series lead went from 2-0 to 2-1. Next two games were still on the road (due to 2-3-2 format) and it felt like the Dodgers now had all the momentum. And they started Game 4 up 4-0 but thankfully the Sox rallied to win Game 4, then Game 5 to win it all. But yeah that night, the game ended at 3:30 AM EST lol and the next 18 hours felt depressing.

Quite well, actually...

From Bias to Reggie to Magic's crippling "Skyhook" in 1987 Finals to the Lean Years to missing out on Duncan Sweepstakes to KG's Knee to Kyrie to GH's injury I've dealt with TOO much heartache already as  Celtics Fan lol.

If they can't bounce back from last night then they have only themselves to blame....and THIS one has the potential to be painful if we can't beat them in Game 4.

Done the "Slow Burns" too - from early 90s until Paul and 'Toine started getting us AT LEAST competitive, again.

Oh yeh that 18 inning game was definitely rough on the brain.  Multiple OT Bruins playoff games can do that too.

Exactly the same feeling.  I kept running that Kinsler throw over and over in my head, just as I did the defense on the lob.  Turned out just a bump in the road as I hope this is.  That error also allowed me to attend game 5 in person.  Bucket list experience!  I guess my thinking now is that if this loss costs us the series, we weren't going to take it all anyway.  I don't think it will cost us the series, because I think this team has the heart to shrug it off.  And, better to have a wake up call when up 2-0 then say in game one of the ECF to fall down 0-1.

I slept great. Basketball is just a game. It felt as if I were watching a movie with a disappointing ending. It sucked at the time, but meh whatever. At the end of the day, it was just a movie/a basketball game.

Fair play to the Raps. They are a battle-hardened team.

Yeah. So can Game 7 of last year's Stanley Cup Finals (welp). I also felt this way after the Pats lost the SB to the Eagles a few years ago. I couldn't believe how awful our defense was that night and we made Foles look like a superstar...
