Any chance lebron could retire if they win this year?  He's not passing Jordan.  He'll have won with three franchises.  He definitely has plans beyond basketball.

Why not go out on top at 35?

AD calls them the new Kobe and Shaq.  So it looks like they plan to win 3 in a row.  That would tie Lebron with MJ.  Who am I to say he can't do that?

Yeah, I wouldn’t rule out Lebron catching MJ.

I wonder if Kawhi has any regrets about not signing with the Lakers.
Doubt it.  He doesn't want to be #2 to Lebron.  Let alone competing with AD to be Lebron 's #2.

That BUM Dragic hit all kinds of crazy shots against us...and he's out for the LAKERS...typical.

KO tried to put the Heat on his back last night. 24 and 9.

Age got nothing on LeBron, sadly. Poised to win 2 more titles, probably with the Lakers if he re-signs.

And the Lakers will have the space to improve their bench. Ugh.

I guess the only good thing is the West should be back where it once was- absolute dominance with the Warriors, Nuggets, Mavericks and those other teams.

No offense sir, but this is a loser's mentality.

Instead, focus on building a team to defeat Lebron. Hey Danny, we have to add size with talent !!!!

I haven't watched one minute of finals, but I am sickened by the thought of Lakers catching our titles @ 17.

Funny how LA barely acknowledged their time in Minny until they got within shouting distance of the Celtics titles.

Kinda crazy how easily LA has been slicing up Miami's zone this series.
Yet another mark against Brad and our guys that we struggled so bad with the zone those two series.

Isn't Brad's strength supposed to be strategic preparation ?  It sure ain't in-game coaching.

So many articles are romanticizing the Lakers as some defensive “juggernaut” because the crippled Heat are having a hard time scoring without two of their top three players. The talking heads have always loved them some Lakers.

I figure let them enjoy their moment. The Lakers are not going to sniff the Finals next year.

I'm not saying I hope he does so he doesn't beat us next year.  I just raised the question.  NBA will be tougher next year with GS back to strength.  He'll be a year older and while he really has seemed to defy aging it's going to happen and it tends to happen quickly when it does.  I don't think he will but he has done some unexpected things in the past.

It's nauseating.  They had nothing in the Forum about the Minneapolis championships.  Only after Phil Jackson got there and there was a buzz again in LA about the Lakers did they start pushing this marketing ploy about catching the Celtics in championships.  And of course the media was more than willing to comply with pushing that angle.

They can call it whatever they want, but it does not change the fact that LA does not have 17 NBA titles. I'd love to see the Twolves come out and lay claim to those banners for their own marketing ploy.

They haven't even retired George Milan's number yet they'll take the team accomplishments.

I'm really excited to see what Golden State will look like. They're all of a sudden a likeable team once again now that KD is gone

I'm excited to see what kind of train wreck Brooklyn will be and if Kyrie and KD will take responsibility for coaching the team badly if they start struggling. Or will it be that their teammates can't execute their brilliant game plans?
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Genuinely feel bad for Nash. A rookie coach who hasn't even coached a preseason game and the All-Knowing Kyrie has already undermined his authority

Had to do a double-take when I checked the scores
